Nothing fancy about this place. There was no phone or hair dryer in the room. We stopped on our way to South Dakota and couldnt quite make it that far. For an overnight stay in the boondocks it was not bad. The front desk clerk was very nice and helpful.

Small town high school reunion, not many options. Room was clean, friendly staff. Very adequate and was all we needed or expected. Fairly close to our activities and right on interstate. Motel was used by several others and nothing bad from anybody.

Well I should qualify title.. I have not stayed in other hotels in Rock Port, but my relatives are local and this is what they recommended. The owner of this place also owns Super 8 across interstate. My room was clean, yet worn. I agree with prior reviews get room on back side away from hi way for more quiet... More

I wish I coul have given it a 3.5 stars but TA only allows whole star choices. The hotel is relatively clean, well lit parking and attentively manned. Found nothing in disrepair. Beds are a bit hard and pillows a bit flat, but all were clean. Walls were recently painted, but amenities were pretty dated (can't remember the last time... More

We chose this mom & pop motel due to the fact that you can park in front of your room, making it so much easier to load/unload luggage, laptop, etc. rather than pushing an unwieldy cart down a long carpeted hallway. Not "white-glove" clean, it's an older motel & a little "tired" but OK for an overnighter; we were glad... More

We stopped at name brand Super 8 first at 2pm. lady pretty much didn't want to get out of bed to give us a room. There was only about 5 cars in the parking lot, they couldn't have been full. So we went across the interstate to rock port inn. Called the number on the door, man answered quickly then... More

A little worried at first about a mom and pop hotel, but after checking in and getting in the room I was very pleased about what I found and the price I paid. Although an older hotel the room was well furnished and clean. The bed was comfortable and got a very good nights sleep. WiFi worked very well and... More

This place looked ok and seems well maintained from the outside. Front desk was friendly but ESL. There was a large beetle on my door (1+ inches) which is probably just a gnarly coincidence but it was not inviting. There was evidence of a break-in (with hasty repairs), the AC was off on a muggy day. AC took a long... More

Slept great while traveling through. Pulled in around 1 am and office light was out. Another vehicle said they couldn't get answer si they left. But, we called the number and the manager answered and came down. Clean room and great shower for about $63 including tax and fees. I would stay here again.

We've stayed here once before, about a year ago. The experience then was good enough that, based on it and the awful reviews for the Super 8, we again booked the Rock Port Inn for a one-night stay.. It is clean and quiet, but aging. There was no coffee in the lobby even 1/2 hour after it was supposed to... More
