After hammering our bikes the fifty miles up the Katy Trail from Sedalia to Rocheport, the Yates House Bed and Breakfast was a wonderful and refreshing sight. Beautiful, unbelievably lush gardens, elegant and comfortable rooms and hospitality that wouldn't quit. The next morning owner and (apparently) raconteur Dan delivered a delightful history of Rocheport and threw in an anecdote or... more

My wife and I stayed at the Yates house in Rocheport for our 25th wedding anniversary. We could not have picked a better bed and breakfast and it was so good, we even extended our stay by an extra day. The Yates house features some spacious rooms which are very clean and well kept. They include amenities like a stocked... more

This was my second stay at the Inn, in Rocheport, Missouri. Great access to the KATY Trail for biking, or just a peacefull get away. Very small, quaint town outside of Columbia, Missouri. Winery near by, and Missouri River. The Inn itself is very nice, and well taken care of an appointed. Feels like home. Bring an appetite for breakfast,... more

There are not enough accolades for the Yates House B&B. I plan to make this an annual trip because of the great cooking, gracious hospitality, friendly atmosphere, superb suggestions for things to do in the area, comfortable room, thoughtful extras like coffee/cookies/soaps. The worst part about staying is having to leave. Thank you, Dixie and Conrad, for one of the... more

You can't go wrong staying at the Yates House Bed & Breakfast. Their lovely home is warm and inviting, and I immediately felt welcome as soon as I stepped in the door. I was greeted with home baked cookies and friendly conversation with Conrad and Dixie Yates. I had one of the best night's sleep of my life as I... more

Conrad and Dixie Yates have created a wonderfully relaxing B&B experience in Rocheport, Missouri. We loved the elegant surroundings and our room was so luxurious with its king sized bed, jacuzzi tub and fireplace. And the bedding is sumptuous. After a peaceful night's sleep in the beautiful guest room, you get to enjoy an amazing breakfast lovingly prepared by Dixie.... more

The Yates House is our favorite place to stay when we are in MO. Dixie and Conrad are wonderful, friendly hosts. And Dixie is an AMAZING cook. We even bought their cookbook and use it all the time. We were actually there for a cooking class, and had a fantastic experience. The Yates House is gorgeous, we especially like the... more

If you want to see a profoundly professionally run B&B, Conrad and Dixie will show you how it's done. Before you stay there, call the B&B and have Dixie mail you her cook book. Then, ask her to make that incredible baked french toast. (It takes 2 days to make this dish). Bring your bicycles, as your right by the... more

We have made the Yates House B&B our destination get away and try to stay there as often as we can to experience the elegant surrounding and meals provided by Conrad and Dixie Yates. The small town welcome of the Rocheport merchants, plus the out door experience of "Mother Nature" on the KATY Trail which parallels the Mighty Missouri River... more
