Joan and I always search for romantic get a way’s to celebrate our anniversary. The Amber House provided a very unique experience. The ambiance was wonderful and the cuisine superb. Innkeeper Mary is a great conversationalist as well as an outstanding chef. We wholeheartedly recommend this Victorian Bed and Breakfast to any couple seeking the ‘perfect’ time together. Gene more

This is a beautiful B&B sitting on beautiful piece of property in a charming town. The hosts, Mary and Steve, are wonderful. We were riding the Katy Trail and over estimated our abilities. steve and mary were so awesome i felt like i was staying with my favorite cousins. the room was amazing the food so good you wanted to learn how to make it ( i bought the cookbook) cant say enough good things we stayed for our 26 wedding annivesary more

We found this B&B when we searched for lodging close to Les Bourgeois Winery in Rocheport. The house is beautiful and the rooms are exquisitely decorated.
