Nice setting but way overpriced. Very poorly lit roadway at night. Poorly lit bathrooms. Construction on the cabin next door (roof, flooring, etc) took up lots of parking space and was very noisy. Director Jamie Keys unwilling to make adjustment/refund. You have the feeling that Big Cedar doing you a favor to let you stay. more

Stayed here for about the 3rd or fourth time, and it hasn't changed at all. Food is bar quality at best, service is ok at times, at other times, the wait staff can't be bothered and rushed us out of our seats. Food is not well described on the menus, and we found items missing from our meals, such as... more

We were a group of 9 traveling together and we stayed 3 nights August 10-13th. We stayed in a room at Falls Lodge, we had 5 people in one room and still had plenty of space. The view from our room was incredible. This place is a little slice of heaven, so quiet and serene. A very kid friendly, great... more

Everything is relative to the price, right? So, let's start with this: we scored a private one BR cabin during peak summer season (Sunday, Aug 3) for $150/night; normally is it $269, but this cabin (#570) was available for one night only. We called and booked by phone when the BCL website was indicating "not available for on line reservation."... more

We spent Monday, July 28th at Big Cedar Lodge. Our room was in Falls Lodge. It had a shower and a jacuzzi tub. It was beautifully furnished, and the grounds at Big Cedar were amazing. It was awfully hot while we were there - but in the evening, our balcony overlooking the lake was perfect. Everything there was top notch!... more

After about 10 visits to BCL, we still love going there. We enjoy the fall/winter season best. Yes, it's expensive, but you get what you pay for. We rent the lakeside cabins. They are equipped with all you need (except groceries) to make your stay more like home. A grocery store is about 10 minues north on I-65. Dishes, pots,... more

We had an incredible time and can't wait to go back next year! We were there May 17 - 24th. It was myself, my husband and our 2 boys a 7 year old and a 14 year old. We actually stayed at the Wilderness Lodge at Big Cedar. That is the TimeShare portion of Big Cedar. We had a 1... more

We stayed at the Big Cedar resort May 16-18. The resort was 100% full. We ended up with the last place available, half of a duplex at Thunderhead Point. Thunderhead Point cabins were originally going to be torn down and may still be. This was a property bordering Big Cedar that Bass Pro bought. They kept filling up the cabins,... more

We booked our room through the Bass Pro Shop knowing we would have to listen to a timeshare presentation. We payed an extra fee to upgrade our room and had the recommendation from a friend. What a disappointment. The room in the Valley View Lodge was simply atrocious with bad mattresses, a tiny TV, and a dark, dumpy "lodge" decor.... more

We went to Big Cedar in May of 07 and again in Feb of 08. Both times we stayed in a private cabin. The 1st time we went we stayed in the Lakeside cabins which is a beautiful area high up on a hill with some peak through areas of the Table Rock Lake. This past time we stayed in... more
