Trout Lodge provided our family a great opportunity to make wonderful memories. There is so much to do so we were all able to find something that we enjoyed. Our children 8 and 11 had the chance to do a few activities that they had never done before as well. (Several of the activities are included in the price of... More

Spent a week in July at Trout Lodge with our family reunion. All ages attended and there was plenty of varied activities for everyone. Loved the international staff members who ran the different activities. They were personable and great with our kids. Everyone we dealt with was friendly and helpful. We were never bored, lots to do. Food was great... More

Trout Lodge is the place to go for a fun family getaway. With a little something for everyone, Trout Lodge has become our go to place for a weekend away (or even just a day). The staff are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to make sure your experience exceeds expectations. The wide variety of activities (arts and... More

We went from a Sat-Tuesday in late July. The hotel: The hotel is 5 stories with the entrance on the 4th floor. The building was built in 86 and hasn't been updated since... the bed was comy and everything worked fine - just a little old styled. The floors/ceilings were like paper. Got to listen to the kids run around... More

Let me start by saying our family had a fantastic time and we loved all the activities. Never a dull moment! We would definitely come back again! Staff were super nice and helpful. Our only small disappointments were with our room and the food. We had a loft room on the top floor with lots of space and plenty of... More

Lots of things to do but they were always full or closed. The only thing to do was swim. Even the trampoline was closed most of the time. Food was worse than a lunch room. Very disappointing. Staff was friendly. Just book activities a week before your stay.

Just returned from a 4-day stay. Loved the scenery and the lake. I didn't plan to say more but since there is a 200 word minimum here, let me add that I loved the new sailboats and kayaks, available right when I wanted them...

I have stayed here with my family for years. We love that there are a ton of activities and that the lake is peaceful. They've now added golf carts. I can see why, it's a big property. BUT people drive them everywhere. On several occasions I had to run and scoop up my kids as there were golf carts flying... More

Most years, my husband and I spend our anniversary at The Trout Lodge on their Valentine's Day weekend. We've never been disappointed. The value is a little pricey for some people, but for all they offer, we've always been so happy to pay the price. There are so many activities that you can join in as a couple. BUT, you... More

I last visited the Lodge in 2002 for an annual conference. The location is breathtaking--smack dab in the beautiful Ozarks. I arrived with other attendees shortly after 11 a.m. The staff was very accomodating, allowing me to check in early. Unfortunately, the restaurant wasn't open. We were directed to another facility where we ended up eating with school age campers.... More
