Very interesting place. The rooms were very clean, spacious and like new. The staff was very helpful. Couldn't have been more please with the place. There is also a pond with fountain and 1 screened gazebo with deck on each side. The bar was fun and very interesting as it had many collectibles to the point that it was almost... More

Amazingly spacious room! Definitely worth the money to get the whirlpool room. Room came with two drink tickets to the nearby bar, along with champagne and bottled water in the rooms. Bed was super comfortable. The staff was super polite and welcoming.

After reviewing all the reviews, my boyfriend and I went for it. The room was huge with a hot tub, a king size bed, flat screen tv, and a home bedroom feeling. We loved it. Sure we were already warn about the bugs, but we were smart about the door. Please use common sense. It is that simple. They even... More

The wife and I stopped by the night of 8-1-14 late. The desk clerk said he was starting that night, had no support and took a long time to process us and others waiting. First impressions were that the property looked fairly good, but the entrance was very poorly marked, almost impossible to see at night. Upon entering the room,... More

After spending 3 nights in Fall Creek Falls in Spencer, Tennessee we were tired it was a long drive home. Checked reviews and decided to stay at Bullwinkles. After staying at the hotel of horrors in Hermitage, TN we were more careful. We stayed in a beautiful Jacuzzi suite, the room was clean, large and very welcoming. Would recommend staying... More

An enjoyable trip back in time to the motels and camps of the sixties and seventies, but with some nice updated amenities like a Jacuzzi tub for two, and the continental breakfast. The room was clean and inviting (although a little "buggy"), and the bar was very unique and atmospheric. An interesting, but rustic experience.

My friend didnt want to stay here but I convinced her to give it a chance. My bad. Now I am lying on a old bouncy mattress surrounded by bugs; mosquitoes and mosquito eaters, spiders and other. (There was a Hot Shot can left on the shelf. I hope this was not meant for me to use.) There are dirty... More

Have only one complaint with this inn and that would be the mosquitos that swarm to the place from the nearby rice fields. Owners are nice enough to provide cans of Raid in the rooms to keep them sprayed with. Other than that, this was a nice, clean place with friendly staff. Continental breakfast was minimal, so if you are... More

Stayed here one night. Clean. Pretty basic. Nothing fancy. Very nice staff at front desk. At least they had a room on a night that Poplar Bluff was having a blizzard ! We skipped the breakfast so we could hit the road early, so no info on breakfast.

This is a favorite place of mine Clean room, helpful front desk. Its a short stagger away from Their bar, and there is a huge danceclub named Scooters a short walk away on the same road. I suggest getting a second floor room, so you can enjoy the view of their pond. Free continental breakfast was so-so, but everything else... More
