The place is beautiful as the pictures depict. I have a BIG issue with their view of children. In fact, in my opinion their view borders on discrimination. The establishment charges an extra $35 per child. In reality, apparently the $35 fee is to discourage anyone from actually bringing children with them to this B&B. Robin made it clear that... More

Mulberry Hill does not have an issue with children at ALL as long as pre-registered and post-registered guest for the same stay period are in compliance. Most guests come to our estabiishment for rest and relaxation so we feel obligated to ensure that the presence of children during their stay will not cause an issue. We have had children on... More

My three daughters, their families and my wife and I spent three nights while attending my sister's 50th wedding anniversary celebration. Rooms were lovely. The entire place was spotless. The breakfasts were quite good. Robin was a gracious hostess and tried to anticipate our every need. Given the quality of the facility and the service, the rates are a definite... More

My husband and I were meeting half way between our home and his job..We decided to try a bed and breakfast..Saying it was an amazing experience would not do it justice. Robin was accomodating and very informative on activities and places to eat. Her meals were hot and delicious. We felt as if we were home. We will definately be... More

I stayed 2 nights at this B&B with 7 other ladies and used the dining and living room to hold a board meeting for our not for profit organization. The owner was wonderfully accommodating and the rooms are beautiful and comfortable. For a reasonable fee, she even provided us with lunch and made an amazing birthday cake for us! Every... More

We stayed at this B&B during a roadtrip, it was very easy to get to from Kansas City. The home is beautiful, as well as the guest rooms, in a quaint small town. We were the only guests that evening, and our rooms were upgraded at no additional cost. Robin is a wonderful cook, she made us a generous dessert... More

I spent one night in the Garden of Eden room. The room was located on the third floor. It was spacious and very nicely decorated. The breakfast was delicious and I got to meet some other very nice guests that were in town visiting family. I was so glad that I found this B & B. I was traveling from... More

This was a weekend close to Kansas City. Although Pleasant Hill seems quite a way off of I-70, it really took only 40 minutes to get into KC for shopping and 15 minutes to Lees Summit. The rooms were a nice size. Free wireless internet and televisions in all rooms. Robin cooked some yummy breakfasts and always had dessert ready... More

We stayed here on a last-minute, getaway weekend, and really enjoyed this B&B. Robin was a very nice and accommodating host. The place was exceedingly clean. Breakfast both mornings was very good - especially if you have a sweet tooth. Only downside was that there seemed to be virtually nothing to do in Pleasant Hill itself. We drove to a... More

This was my first time at a B&B. Robin was very sweet and always helpful. We were in the Garden of Eden room which was beautiful and roomy (and up on the 3rd floor). Our evenings were quiet and relaxing in the hot tub (although the chlorine was a little too strong). The breakfast was delicious and there are MANY... More

Mulberry Hill B&B is in a beautiful house built in 1904. It’s tucked away in a residential area in Pleasant Hill, Missouri. Pleasant Hill is a good 30-45 minutes from Kansas City. Nevertheless, the night that we stayed, all five rooms were full; a real testament to the experience. Robin is very attentive to details, and is the perfect host;... More
