A nice quiet hotel with a pool (indoor) and nice big rooms. We spent one night here before flying out and I think it was very nice. We had a big room with 2 queen beds and a fridge, microwave oven, coffeemaker and a nice breakfast. The breakfast room wasn't that big but ok, and the waffles (you can make... more

We used this hotel as our Park & Fly base on our trip to California. Loved the spacious rooms here, just some neat extras in these rooms that we found nowhere else. Staff was courteous and accommodating. Fairly quiet area. Bed was comfy, room was clean. Nice pool, infrared sauna (didn't get a chance to use it, but was impressed... more

We are frequent guests of this Comfort Inn. We have stayed with them before/after all of our travels from MCI now for several years. We have always been extremely satisfied with the cleanliness of the rooms, breakfast area and lobby. The beds are very comfortable and extremely clean. The newly remolded rooms are very nice. The breakfast room was very... more

I found this property on the internet and needed two rooms- and then called directly since I had questions if this was a Park and Shuttle to the airport etc. and was 3 months in advance. I asked for the price and she quoted a 84.99 a night, I believe it was. I said, well then, I'll go back and... more

I am sorry that you had this kind of problem at my property. We have had a few new hires this month and perhaps they need more training. The price for this park and fly package is $89.99 which includes room, breakfast, parking for 14 days and airport shuttle. I am not sure where you saw the $39 rate -...

I called this hotel directly and was quoted a rate of $84.99 per night for 3 nights. Two days before our arrival date I received my credit card bill. The hotel had charged for all three nights in advance and at $175 a night for two of the nights. When I spoke to the manager, he said they hiked the... more

Beleive it or not , I am glad that I saw your comments about my property. I am truely sorry if you feel as though you were misinformed or taken advantage of in any way. Like all other properties in this area - we do charge higher rates, charge in advance, and have more strict cancellation policies during race weekend....

Now that I have stayed at both the Best Western and Comfort Inn in Platte City, I am in a good position to compare the two. I would rate the room as very slightly inferior to Best Western because it is an older motel which has been renovated, quite well renovated, but just slightly off in the small details. Otherwise,... more

Reading the previous comments, I almost thought they were referring to a different hotel than the one we stayed in. Maybe this hotel has made considerable improvements over the past several months, but we used the Park, Sleep & Fly option to fly out of nearby Kansas City International Airport and have no complaints whatsoever. The room was clean, quiet... more

This hotel was infested with ladybugs. They were on the ceiling, bed, walls, etc. They gave us another room and were kind about it, but what a mess! The lobby is being refurbished so there was plastic everywhere. Would never recommend this hotel. more

This hotel should be visited by the Comfort Inn Corporate Quality Control folks. It is amazingly expensive and completely filthy. I have no idea why they feel they can charge the prices that they do with some very lovely (and clean) hotels just 4-5 miles south on I-29. more

I found this hotel to be WAY overpriced. I was lead to expect a nice place from reading about it on the Comfort Inn website. It is dated, musty and full of bugs, alive and dead. Here are a few of the problems that I found: --bad musty smell, in room and hallway --tiny tv with a really bad picture... more
