I have no complaints. I'm finishing up a 4,500 mile drive and have stayed in many motels on this trip and this is the only one that I can say that about. Easy parking, clean and serviceable rooms, breakfast and amenities as expected, and at a competitive price. The new owners are taking great pride in their business and it... More

I booked via Priceline as we were going through on our way home to Colorado. When we got there, the owner/front desk clerk, though very nice and friendly, insisted we pay an additional 10.80 for our 13 year old son. The hotel was scary in the outside, but the room was ok. The beds were meh to sleep on, but... More

Oak Grove was the half-way mark on our 1,2000 mile drive home and stopped to get a few hours of sleep before continuing on. We pulled in just before 2am. The office was locked and just before giving up and trying to find another hotel, a very polite man came to the door and checked us in. He noted on... More

Headed cross country. Has a bed, a shower, and NO lot lizzards. Clean and has been worked on. Not a bad place to stop for the night. Don't know about the breakfast yet, but Waffle House is around the corner.

We travel from TN to NE bi-annually and this Econo Lodge is such a blessing. We have two toddlers and this is right off the interstate at the point where they are done being in the car. Whichever direction we are heading its a half way point and we get through either KC OR St. Louis. It's super affordable, the... More

The reviews I went by were correct. The new owner is trying to update everything and also be "green". Nice to talk to, he was fro m India. I was impressed with the bathroom switch-it was a light with automatic fan, and when you turned off, there was an illumination light to see in the dark. I carry a night... More

I did not go expecting much except free Choice Privileges night with a hot shower and a place to sleep. I saw past complaints about noise and bright light but we had no problem. Helped that we were on the back side, maybe. Friendly manager. Some construction trucks and materials around. He told me they are installing solar panels! Love... More

We stumbled upon this place last October when all the KC rooms were booked for the Nascar race. The room was extremely clean and the front desk was super at accomodating my special requests...extra pillows, a coffee maker for the room, late check out... Since then we have made it our go to motel. It is always clean, the beds... More

I-70 Highway noise is VERY loud. Lots of truck traffic due to two very large truck stops on either side of the interstate adjacent the the Oak Grove exit ramps. Even the air conditioner could not drown the noise out. If you're a light sleeper you may want to avoid this motel. They also use excessively bright exterior lighting which... More

The hotel is now under a new management, as of July 2012, and we are trying our best to address customer concerns. The doors now block out most noise and breakfast has been significantly improved. We have also installed new and softer daylight CFLs in the rooms to address bright lights. Thanks. We would be glad to address your concerns... More
