My husband and I travelled from Calgary to Mountain River Lodge for a mini vacation and hiking at Mount Robson Provincial Park. Overall we had a great stay. When we arrived we were met by Claudia who was very pleasant and showed us the amenities. Our room was small (one queen bed) but had everything we needed including flat screen... More

Great views Mt. Robson, clean comfortable rooms, delicious breakfasts and dinners and amazingly friendly hosts. If I could give more stars I would! Creek side patio, intimate dinning room with views of Robson, cozy common area and convenient location.

Our group of 14 hikers had a great experience at this beautiful B&B. The bedroom/cabin plan suited our mixed group of couples & singles, and we really appreciated the hearty breakfasts & the option to have dinner there. Curtis & Claudia did everything possible to make us feel welcome & comfortable. We hiked 6 days, but would have loved to... More

The Yellowhead Highway is a beautiful drive but accommodation is either dreary and limited or overpriced as in Jasper. The Mountain River lodge is the best iI have found with a great view of Mount Robson, clean, reasonable and best of all a really friendly hosts. Claudia and Curtis provided a good cooked breakfast - and a home cooked dinner... More

We had a confirmed reservation for 6 months for a specific room for my wife and I and her 84 year old mom...when we got there he told us he switched us to two different rooms, which was unacceptable to us as she needed to room with us. No advance notice at all. When I told him we wanted the... More

We stayed three nights in the Riverview Cabin and could not believe the beautiful view from our veranda overlooking the river with Mount Robson in the background. Very well equipped with everything you need, including a gas barbecue and your own fire pit, which Curtis was only too happy to light, although the weather was so hot we declined the... More

Two very enjoyable night's! Excellent value and truly delicious dinners! We slept like babies those mattresses were that comfortable and our room overlooked the river so the balcony door should stayed open all night so we could lull ourselves to sleep with the of the river. If that wasn't enough, Curtis & Claudia were perfect hosts and we met some... More

We spent three nights at River Mountain Lodge, and wished we could have stayed longer. Claudia and Curtis are friendly, unobtrusive hosts who take very good care of their guests. The breakfasts were excellent, and the option of their tasty dinners saved a drive into Valemount each night, although there are some good restaurants there for those who wish to... More

We had prepaid for 2 nights here, but could not get there due to an avalanche and had to make other arrangements. Unknown to us the original avalanche actually got worse and cut off all power to the B&B, including cell phones! When we finally spoke 3 days later Curtis told us that he would refund all of our money... More

Wonderful peaceful location with beautiful mountain & stream views from the main lodge. We did the dinner at the lodge and it was a very delicious salmon dinner (the BYOB feature worked well for us). Included breakfast was very good. The sitting area in the main lodge was very cozy. I highly recommend the River Lodge.
