We were greeted by the friendly staff on arrival with cold drink and lei's. They gave a brief rundown of services available. There were renovations occurring but were no interruption or too noisy during our stay. They included a half day tour in our stay which was a fabulous way to see the island and get ideas of what we... More

Helpful staff and pleasant surroundings. The Garden Rooms have recently been renovated and most have a nice outlook over the lovely countryside. The main restaurant is being rebuilt at present but you are in easy walking distance to many good local restaurants. Rentals available to explore the Island and if you wish to enjoy some of the many shows the... More

Found this venue to be very good. Although it was a quite week the staff were friendly and attentive. The Superior room was excellant with a very nice view. The site is close in to the restaurants and shops and you don't really want for anything. wifi is a little bit of a problem but this was quickly overcome. Overall... More

A lot of noisy renovation. Understaffed. Coffee shop not open. Restaurant opened when it felt like it. No real room service for food. Buildings dated but large rooms well cleaned. Access to many can be steep for aged and or in firmed. Breakfast was the only definite meal. No variety. Wendy and Michael are the ones to ask if u... More

This welcoming hotel, even though the buildings have been there for some time, for us, delivered a high level of satisfaction. The room we were allocated was a Superior Garden Room looking out to the hills. It had been renovated and was a larger motel style room with a comfortable King Size Bed, a separate single bed, a two seater... More

Stayed here for 7 nights with a tour group. Had a great room - almost a suite with a separate living area and a little hallway leading to the bedroom and bathroom. Lovely big verandah with access from living area and bedroom, overlooking beautiful countryside. Staff were great, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Room was clean and... More

First let me say I am a frequent traveller so experience many different hotels every year.I stayed here after reading a number of glowing reviews but if this place has been "extensively renovated" I would hate to have seen it before. The public areas were OK but my room was old and the bed very ordinary (who still has thin... More

This was a convenient place to stay on Norfolk Island as it was an easy walk down to the village of Burnt Pine. Although the room was fairly basic and had a slight smell of damp (it had been raining steadily for several days when I arrived) I would still recommend a visit. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful at... Large rooms, very friendly staff, walking distance to Burnt Pine shopping. Can park your hire car close to your room. The pool and spa very welcoming. Breakfasts OK but hot food tended to dry out. A friendship develops with other guests. I would choose this over a villa/apartment as it is close to all restaurants; basic groceries are expensive and there... More
