I lived in maryland hieghts briefly off of dorsett rd so when I return to visit, I like to stay in this area. The Hampton Inn is a nice but not great place to stay at the dorsett rd exit. Location right off the interstate is its main selling point. For a business hotel, internet access here is problematic. It's... more

Stayed for a weekend getaway for my then boyfriend's (now husband) birthday. The location is great, right off the freeway which will get you to whatever part of St Louis you want to go. It is also down the street from Westport Plaza which has various restaurants and nightlife. The rooms are a nice size and the beds are excellent.... more

I agree with others who wrote "Solid 2-1/2 star hotel". So why did they give it 4 or 5 ratings? Pros: Comfy bed; clean; staff particularly friendly & helpful; tea/coffee service available in lobby; near many good restaurants. Cons: Difficulties with internet service (connection drops, very slow, times out, have to re-authenticate); room & bathroom on small side; ugly florescent... more

This is a solid 2 1/2 star hotel. We stayed 5 nights. Very clean and the rooms are very thoughtfully designed and appointed. In contrast to some luxury hotels, our room was well-lit with multiple lamps and had the best climate control we've ever experienced, even in 5 stars. Excellent mattress with different densities of down pillows, plus the bedspread... more

Solid Hampton Inn. Nothing really stood out as being outstanding nor were there any problems. The front desk area was nice and checking in was fast and friendly. The room was very standard for Hampton Inn's, clean and comfortable. The carpeting was older but clean and well maintained. The bed seemed newer and was comfortable with quality linens. The bathroom,... more

Stayed here in January 2008. The Hampton Inn chain is starting to remind me of Mcdonalds (in a good way). Their hotels are all themed the same with little variation and they concentrate on the right things. The beds are top notch, the breakfast is nicely done, and the showers are good. Nice hotel. Nice service. Strongly recommended. more

The price, service, and cleanliness, were unbeatable. I will not lie to you, for the prices do not be fooled. Do not think that the Hilton business is dumb. The hotel is not going to be a $400.00 room that they forgot to charge for. You’re not going to see marble and granite. But, be serious when was the last... more

WE stayed here for a regional synchronized swimming meet championship. We had adults and young girls 7-17 years. The hotel was excellent. The beds were incredible, as Hampton beds have been for our team this year. The breakfast in the a.m. was great. The staff was good to above at the front desk. The hotel manager and group sales person... more

The Hotel was very close to my business destination and I would probably stay there again. Wifi was very weak and unreliable. I was there a week and during that time one of the two elevators was out of order the entire time, leaving me taking the stairs to the forth floor several times. more

i agree with this review, that we were having issues with our WiFi connection, and have been working closely with our provider to resolve this issue. I have not heard any recent complaints of the WiFi. We always encourage guests to let us know when the WiFi is low and not working well. Also, the elevator indeed was down during...

We stayed for one night and were very pleased with our stay. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. The beds were the typical hampton bed with the nice fluffy comforter and very comfortable mattress and pillows. Location right off 270 is convenient. Many restaurants within a couple of miles - we traveled about five minutes to a nearby Applebees. Harrah's... more
