Clean "Old School" small town hotel. Staff very nice, hotel nice and quite clean. Walkable to most of Louisiana MO. Historic cool town about 30 miles from Hannibal, MO Mini markets just across the street

We enjoyed our stay at River's Edge Motel. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. The views of the river and Champs Clark bridge are amazing. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in town.

River's Edge is a living flashback to the small family-run motels of yesteryear. Room was very spacious and a bit nostalgic; "Mom and Pop" (who have owned the hotel for 28 years, he told me) are kind and helpful -- and if you have the time and interest, he will be glad to visit with you for a while. I... More

During clinicals for my RCVS degree I stayed two nights a week for 6 weeks at The River View and it is my fondest memory of clinicals. The family that owns this little place is amazing and puts their heart ans soul into it. The rooms were always spotless and a welcome relief from life at the hospital. Louisiana is... More

After three nights in a tiny hotel room downtown Chicago, this little gem for a third the price was a welcome relief. Spacious, immaculately clean, not creepy, plus a great view of the Mississippi River! We stayed in #43, had two windows both with views of the river. Hotel manager was so gracious and sweet. Thank you for capping off... More

Stayed here on our trip up the Great River Road. Room 43 nice view of the river. Upper building is farther away from the highway and a better view. Clean room. Very reasonable. Would stay here again!!!

A military discount on top of an already great price makes this a wonderful gem. We had a corner room and once we unpacked I did not want to leave. This is a clean well priced Motel with outstanding staff. They waited till we left, pretty late in the day --before they came to clean the room, and they never... More

Extremely clean, comfortable, and convenient. Best shower I've had in years. The owners are great and they're doing a bang-up job of remodeling. Yes, it is an older dated hotel but that's what gives it character. Beats the cookie cutter chains as others have said. Nice views of the river and bridge. And for sure beats the dumps available in... More

Debated staying at either Hannibal or Quincy, but get so very tired of the corporate generic chain hotels and treasure mom & pop motels like this one. It really feels good to give your hard earned money to owners who are working just as hard. It's obvious they take pride in their premises & their little town. Miss Joyce was... More

The room was very clean and comfortable. The desk clerk was friendly and very helpful with directions to places in town. We were in town to eagle-watch and this was an excellent choice of a hotel with amazing views of the river.
