This was our second trip to Lake Paradise. The first was in 2011 and if i'm not mistaken, it was a different owner then. My family and i enjoyed both visits. We stayed in a Rustic Cabin by Lake Moonlight the first time and it was nice but this time (June 2014) we tried their Camper and that seems to... More

Stay away if possible. The owner is very shady. We stayed here and he seemed friendly at check in but went downhill fast. He said they have great amenities....but they charge for all of them...then they would not be amenities if you charge for them right? He did not even tell us they charge for them and when we asked... This is a good neighbor park, that's about all it is! The owner is so outta touch with big rig owners, thinks we can turn them around like nothing! We came in and went to office which was at the top of a hill, had to make a u-turn to go to our site, which was so unlevel, mind you... More

By far my favorite spot! I have truly enjoyed getting to raise my daughter in this environment, we absolutely love it here! It is very family oriented and very clean, and the pool is amazing, love all the amenities!

We camped at Lake Paradise over Memorial weekend and it was very nice. Yes, it is older, but is close to Lee's Summit, Mo. The fishing was great, it was like the lakes had just been stocked. Mainly catch and release, but a great place for kids to fish. The pool was being worked on, but too cold to swim... More

If you want amenities, this is about as good as you can get for middle Missouri (Pool, resturaunt, hiking, fishing, mini-golf, live music, etc.). If you want a nice camping spot, do not let them pick it for you. It is a roll of the dice here. Some spots are awesome (Concrete pad, easy access, relatively well groomed, step out... More

Our first time at Lake Paradise, heard nothing but great reviews. The only thing this place had going for it was their pool! Our lakefront campsite, along w/ others in our camping group, had goose poop EVERYWHERE and weeds up to two feet tall. The "lake" was disgusting looking, the charge to swim and to fish was ridiculous, and you... More
