This was a fun change from a chain motel. We were on a 9 day road trip and we spent our last night at Munger Moss. Probably the most memorable part was meeting the owner, Ramona. She was so knowledgable about a lot of Rt 66. Interesting lady. Our room was large and the bathroom was also -decorated with pink... More

This is the first real 66 motel if you're traveling east to west. It has an epic neon sign (probably the main reason we picked it to be hinest. The staff are nice and friendly, and the room had almost everything we needed. The only downside was we coul dnot access the wifi from our room. I think we were... More

We loved the old feeling of the motel rooms. The price was about 50.00 but ranges from 45 to 60.00 Yes it is not fancy but if you enjoy the homey feeling you will like it. I loved the blue tile in bath everything was super clean and looked like it was ;just painted. We were in room 82 and... More

We were looking forward to our stopover at this famous and highly recommended Route 66 motel. It was okay but distinctly average. The room was shabby and one of the bath towels very threadbare. The pool was out of action. There was no refrigerator or coffee making facilities. We were given a bucket of ice on arrival which of course... More

Ramona is awesome. Do not let other reviewers tell you otherwise. She is the real deal and the point of doing route 66! Go to your Hilton or your hyatt regency if you want amenities. If you want a great experience stay here. :-)

We stayed the weekend for a wedding! We loved the cute room and all the charm! Is it old? Yes, but that is what is awesome about it! It was like stepping back in time. The king bed was very comfortable and the room was clean comfy and the a/c was cool! Can't beat the price and the quiet location!

This place is supposed to be cute and nostalgic, but to me it's just old. The office had a bad smell of smoke, and the room also smelled. I think it was some kind of disinfectant, but it was an unpleasant smell. When I stepped into the shower and turned on the water, this nasty brown stuff oozed from under... More

A charming, motel with lots of route 66 history. Very clean rooms and very comfortable. The hosts were great, and very informative on the history of the motel and area. Recommended some places to see and eat that were very good. Will definitely stay again when in the area.

One of the "must do" traditional motels on Route 66. Nice clean place (if a little basic), but then again it's not trying to be anything it isn't. Had a fantastic welcome when we arrived and ended up chatting to the owner for well over a half hour even though we were shattered after a long days drive. I suppose... More

The Munger Moss Motel in Lebanon is another fixture on the famous Route 66 that travelers should not miss. It is well kept, very clean and comfortable, and the folks are friendly. The motel started small with additions added over the years, so some of the rooms are fairly modern. They now have over 80 rooms. It is one of... More
