This place is so lovely. The check-in office is full of memorabilia and history and Ramona will tell you about it all and she's such a joy to talk to. I wish I could just live in this motel permanently. The rooms are charming and clean and the perfect combination of vintage and comfort. I HAVE to go back in... More

As with other reviewers, we were on a Route 66 driving trip from Chicago to Santa Monica and had to stay at the Munger Moss. We were in room 24 that had a comfortable king bed and wonderful photos of other Route 66 motels in the region. The bathroom was small but adequate; one suggestion is to replace some of... More

We were riding Route 66 heading west and called the Munger Moss after seeing great reviews on TripAdvisor. It was very cute and quaint, very clean and well maintained. An iconic motel and definite must-stay on your Route 66 adventure!

Stay At Munger Moss Motel when I had to do clinical for nursing school. The room was very homey. Love the décor! It reminded me of stay at my grandma's place. Beautiful quilt top bedspread .The shower and bath room was awesome! Hot water and a roomy shower stall. Awesome People running the Place! Great place !Great Price!

Chose this motel as seen pictures in Route 66 books and a convenient stopping point on our Route 66 journey before we turned off to go across Kansas and Colorado. Emailed Ramona a few weeks before and she replied with a room available. Worth staying there just for the Sign! but room was clean and comfortable, coffee was available in... More

This is a bless from my R66 trip.. Ramona made this motel a must go hotel in R66. I was certainly nicely rewarded with a reectly brewed coffee and the car collection in the reception lobby. I highly advise to see this place. It really flew my back to the 70's..... Thanks Ramona for being such a lovely host...

This was a fun change from a chain motel. We were on a 9 day road trip and we spent our last night at Munger Moss. Probably the most memorable part was meeting the owner, Ramona. She was so knowledgable about a lot of Rt 66. Interesting lady. Our room was large and the bathroom was also -decorated with pink... More

This is the first real 66 motel if you're traveling east to west. It has an epic neon sign (probably the main reason we picked it to be hinest. The staff are nice and friendly, and the room had almost everything we needed. The only downside was we coul dnot access the wifi from our room. I think we were... More

We loved the old feeling of the motel rooms. The price was about 50.00 but ranges from 45 to 60.00 Yes it is not fancy but if you enjoy the homey feeling you will like it. I loved the blue tile in bath everything was super clean and looked like it was ;just painted. We were in room 82 and... More

We were looking forward to our stopover at this famous and highly recommended Route 66 motel. It was okay but distinctly average. The room was shabby and one of the bath towels very threadbare. The pool was out of action. There was no refrigerator or coffee making facilities. We were given a bucket of ice on arrival which of course... More
