This was our first conference at The Country Club Hotel and Spa. It has a beautiful drive up. with a large fountain setting the bar pretty high for the rest of the hotel. The staff was very polite and accommodating even though there was 4 other conferences going on at the same time. The suite rooms were very large! They... More

Driving in, the place looks beautiful. There is an awesome fountain when you first drive in, although it wasn't on, but it looks beautiful. Entering to register, it still looked very nice, and then you take a breath in and smell the disgusting musty smell!! The front desk clerk was very nice, although she said she'd only been there for... More

This "hotel and spa" was VERY disappointing. We originally booked a junior suite throughhotels.com and when we got to the hotel they claimed they were all booked. They "upgraded us" to a 3 bedroom condo. We looked around and there were LOTS of stains not only on the rug, but couches and linens. The blinds were missing in multiple places and... More

After reading reviews I was scared to check in to be honest. The hotel itself I thought was beautiful, although outdated but I enjoyed it overall. Food was mediocre and service was slow. Housekeeping and front desk were helpful however I did find a hair in the bed. Went to use pool around 1pm and it was locked. Stood by... More

We read some of the reviews and were a bit apprehensive about spending a long weekend here but everyone has different expectations and tastes. We stayed here four years ago and remembered the big rooms and great views, so we went ahead. The hotel is under new ownership and is being renovated gradually. The junior suite we stayed in was... Thank you for your review. We appreciate your feedback and have made note of your suggestions. We already have 40" flatscreen televisions and are working on getting them in the rooms as our occupancy allows. We are also in the process of painting our rooms, as well as getting new draperies. We know you will recognize some of these improvements... More

I don't even know where to begin, honestly. I arrived on a Wednesday night for a Thursday & Friday conference. There were no luggage carts, the hall and lobby were outrageously hot (90-95 degrees). I came in to a reserved room that had no air on and was at least as hot. It was humid and musty. There was one... More

This hotel is great for couples and/or families. My wife and I, our two teenage boys, and my mom and dad stayed at this hotel near the end of July. The nice thing is that this hotel is nestled back away from the busy tourist traffic, but is only minutes away from all the attractions if you want to sightsee.... More

My girlfriends and I planned a Girls Weekend to Lake of the Ozarks. One friend was in charge of finding the hotel and this is what she picked. All employees we encountered were kind and the location was perfectly fine, but the hotel itself was a big disappointment. To me, "Country Club Resort and Spa" sounds like I will be... More

Enjoyed the location, staff, meeting rooms & guest rooms very much. Needs some updating, but it is in progress. Can't wait until next year to see the improvements. The location is very quiet, yet close enough to go shopping or sightseeing. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. Our room was clean and the amenities were very welcome (coffee... More
