My husband & I go to the Lake every summer. They offered a King Room walkout for $79/night during the week which was cheaper than the cheezey motels on Hwy 54. Had a nice corner room and ordered room service breakfast (Ham n Cheese Omelette) which was delicious. Yes, the room are about 10 years old in their decor, but... more

Stayed here a couple of weeks ago and truly have never stayed any where worse. The place is completely outdated, rooms are dirty, airconditioner sounds like a plane, plumbing is bad, no amenities to speak of and their cancellation policy is three days in advance. I would pick a Hampton Inn over this place any day. Also, why would you... more

I stayed at the Country Club Hotel and Spa on Good Friday. I discovered during my stay that the hotel was having a cage fighting match on Friday night. The hotel did nothing to make sure my accomdations were safe. On Friday after returning from dinner, there was no place to park and no parknig reserved for hotel guests. I... more

We should have considered that as a omen. The spa is definitely an afterthought! Save your money and go to Spa Shiki at Lodge of the Four Seasons. Sleep here.....don't eat here....don't spa here. Nice mattress though! more

Recently had a week long training session here. The State normally trys to save a buck or two and we have been in some pretty run down places in the years past. This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff was very pleasant to work with and the place was spotless. I did have... more

We stayed at the hotel while attending a trade show convention. The grounds are stunning!! We were so surprised when we opened the door to our sleeping room. It was beautiful, spacious, and clean---so much room! Definitely not your average hotel room with a snack bar, refrigerator, plenty of closet and dresser space, a large couch, end tables, writing desk,... more

This hotel is like a relic from the 1980's. It was probaly very chic at one time but now it is just outdated and old. The grounds are very unkept - looked as if they hadn't mowed is a couple of weeks. Grass looked dead is some places. This is a grand complex with so much potential but when we... more

I spent the weekend there and I found the hotel very disappointing to say the least. When we chacked in I asked what events they had that weekend. The clerk only mentioned the Missouri Bar was there. In fact, the hotel was hosting CAGE FIGHTING on saturday night. This meant that all of the "benefits" of the hotel CLOSED early... more

Lets just say when we arrived at The Lodge of The Four Seasons it was uninhabitable, outdated and dirty. So we got a refund and checked into the Country Club. Beautiful and quiet it was exactly the place to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversay. We had a beautiful stay and a wonderful breakfast the next morning. I would recommend this... more
