I booked a 2-night stay at this Courtyard on the Marriott website hoping I chose the best hotel in the area (airport). We left after one night. I arrived on a Friday morning, and was able to check in early. That made me think everything would be great. Well, we were given a room directly across from the door to the pool area. It smelled of chlorine and we could see hordes of kids in the pool area. I asked for another room and they said they were all reserved (!) by 10:30 in the morning. I said, "How do I reserve a room," and was told you can't get a good room by booking on the Marriott website, you have to call the 1-800 number. This was news to me. I was then put into the other last room in the complex, with a moldy filthy window that had leak problems. The wallpaper was peeling off the wall around this window. ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE for a Marriott property. I expect a Courtyard to be somewhat better than a Motel 6, but that was the quality of the room. The bedspreads were... more
