This property is a wonderful hotel with wonderful rooms, beds, and showers. The rooms are spacious, come with refrigerators, and nice balconies. The hotel is located in the heart of the Crown Center, and the rest of the city is easily walkable, or accessible by the wonderful and frequent "MAX" express bus service. Stores and fast food are located in... more

Great location near Union Station. Hotel Front desk has a recorded message to direct you to help which i found tacky. The kind where you have to listen to the choices. Everything is very expensive. They charge 18 a day for parking and internet is 9.95 a day. The Morning menu at Brassiere is a 5 dollar bagel or a... more

I had a decent stay but was rather disturbed to have to pay to use the fitness center and parking, especially when I had to fight to get a decent spot in the parking garage. I went to Kansas City with some girlfriends to relax and we were disturbed at 8:00 a.m. on a Saturday morning by housekeeping. That was... more

This hotel is convenient to a number of things, a mall, restaurants, bus lines, etc. I was impressed with the size and splendor of the room and slept very well on the nice beds. My one complaint was the hourly serenade by the crown center musical fountain outside my window. more

The rooms are excellent and the views are wonderful. The restaurants around the hotel are second rate and resemble the food courts in the mall. For the price of the rooms what I didn’t like is the 14.50 parking charge in addition to charges for the internet and fitness center. Nice place to stay, but be prepared to pay additional... more

My husband and I stayed at the Westin because we were attending a wine tasting at The American Restaurant and because of their proximity to one another it was the most logical choice, no driving and no taxis. All of the staff were very courteous however we asked the concierge where we could go for a snack and a cocktail... more

Stayed here for two nights during the week while traveling for business. I enjoyed a renovated room which was quiet, clean and well-appointed. But the bed....so comfy! Slept better here than at home! The only con I offer is the charge for internet service ($9.95/24 hrs). I still don't get how the Holiday Inn Expresses of the world can offer... more

Stayed two nights midweek in April. Choice was based on hotels proximity to my clients offices. Overall I found my stay here very good. Had a very nice comfortable room on the 16th Floor. The hotel is well situated for the Crown Center, Union Station and the WWI Memorial. The Fitness Centre is very well equipped, though a visit will... more

We stayed here two nights on an Easter trip to Kansas City. We traveled with an 11, 4 and 8 month old, so were looking for a room with some space. The Crown Center didn't disapoint. They upgraded us to a large, uniquely shaped room which gave the kids lots of space to stretch out. The staff was great the... more

Nice place that's undergoing some long-overdue refurbishing. We had a room that was great until the wind started blowing and it sounded a like freight train, which was an easy mistake since the railyard is pretty much across the street. The location is within walking distance of the Federal Reserve, Union Station and the WWI Memorial, but the hotel is... more
