I have never been impressed with Holiday Inn Hotels. This one even though was somewhat remodeled...was still a disappointment. One person actually working the front desk, the "supervisor" who was there just stood around and answered the phone from time to time. Once we were finally checked in it was then the hunt for the elevator. HINT: go down the... More

We reserved a room at this Holiday Inn to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary! We stayed three nights and had a fabulous time. Ashley checked us in and took care of everything... even gave us complementary drink vouchers and added the romance package (champagne and strawberries) for our anniversary night. We had no problems with parking in the underground parking... More

I've stayed at this Holiday Inn about 4 times in the last year, won't stay again. Normally when I come to KC I stay in the plaza and at the holiday inn. Every time but this trip has been good. Check in was a hassle. They really need to hire more staff or retrain the ones they have. I stood... More

The Hotel Stay room was nice, and the front desk staff was pleasant. Really enjoyed the fact that I could wak a couple of blocks down the road to the Plaza (specifically Jack Stack's bar'b'que which was recommended to us by the front desk clerk). The underground parking was convenient however not secure. A member of my party's car was... More

Took a group of students to KC and we messed up on our reservations- the manager was wonderful and got us 8 rooms at the last minute and even gave us a wonderful breakfast! She saved our trip and insured my students had the best time! Plus SO close to all the beautiful museums!!

This Holiday Inn is pretty typical of the older Holiday Inns in the chain - they've tried to update but you can still tell it's a Holiday Inn that was neglected for a long time. It's dark, has low ceilings and a musty smell. The staff did not seem to be trained very well. When I checked in I stood... More

You know what to expect at the Holiday Inn and it was fine for the four days we spent there. The staff were superb - nothing was too much trouble - so helpful with everything we asked. There is a courtesy bus which takes you anywhere within a 3 mile radius of the hotel which gets you to most places... More

we stayed there for a night and we booked a room with a king/sofa sleeper, our room only came with a king sized bed. so we called the front desk and we had to take all our stuff to a different room. After that we went to the pool and there were about 15 people there drinking beer, partying, and... More

I stayed at this hotel four years ago. Talk about night and day. The renovations they just completed were great. The outdoor pool is perfect for families with kids. Depth ranges from 1 foot up to 11 feet. Only thing that still needs to be updated is are the TVs. They still have the old tube TVs in the guest... More

Stayed for a weekend in late June to see the Cubs lose to the Royals. The place needs a update BAD! It is still stuck in the 1990's with the look of it. It just had this grunge feeling to it. Clean yet needs a good update from the carpeting, painting, and the bathrooms. The one thing that I loved... More
