Hotel staff were very nice and helpful. Place was very clean and convenient. I am a travel agent and have already recommended and made reservations there for one of my clients. more

The front desk service was friendly, but we were supposed to have adjoining rooms. She said we did, but when we got there they weren't adjoining. Also I had called ahead of time about the pool times. I also said something about the pool at check-in and they didn't bother to tell us we couldn't use it. So when we... more

While one cannot expect a 40 story hotel to close to make needed renovations, I believe guests should be warned at the time they are making a reservation that such renovations are going on. We were given no such alert when we booked a king bed room online for their Regency Club Floor that was to include evening drinks and... more

In town for the annual Jiggle Jam festival for little kids, which surreally coincided with "CONQUEST" - a fantasy/sci-fi convention (lots of odd-looking, costumed, but amiable folks wandering around!), we picked this hotel because of good experiences at other Hyatts. I can see why other posts have been negative, but our experience was mainly positive. Some fixtures (latches) and fittings... more

Found the hotel comfortable and one of the few that had smoking rooms in the area, you end up on the top floors. Amenities were fine, one cup coffee maker with Styrofoam cups and covers, an unplugged small refrigerator that didn’t really get cold but kept things chilled. Ipod/radio/alarm but it didn’t work until I found the cord to plug... more

I stayed at this hotel for 5 days (work conference) in April 2009. It's a nice hotel, rooms are spacious and tidy, and the beds are comfortable. The food at the coffee shop is terrible and overpriced - avoid. The business centre is also overpriced - $5.40 for 10 minutes of internet/computer time. The Hyatt needs to learn a lesson... more

We booked this hotel through Priceline at an excellent price of $55/nt. and really liked this hotel! They are in the middle of a remodel, so I'm not sure if our room has already been remodeled or not, but it was great. Our view was awesome, good sized rooms, great bathrooms. We went with friends to celebrate a birthday and the... more

Booked through Hotwire so great rate to start. No request was beneath the staff. Great attitude from check-in to check-out. Convenient to downtown yet far enough away to avoid March Madness crowds (not likely to attend with 2 & 4 year old. Overnight parking fee was reasonable at $14.50 for 24 hours considering the $40 tickets and no on street... more

Looking back on my Gold Passport history, we have stayed at the Hyatt Regency Crown Center 11 times since 2007. Everytime we stay there we see that they are declining. The rooms are getting dated and their TV's are so outdated. Customer service has gone to pot and no one cares. The parking fee does not bother me, but waiting... more
