I travel to KCMO a lot and I often stay near the airport. This time, since I had my wife with me, we decided to stay at the Embassy Suites, mainly because it was a large hotel with free breakfast, a nice exercise room, a pool, a bar and a bus to the nearby Zona Rosa shopping district. I usually... more

We stayed at the Kansas City International Airport Embassy Suites for one night because we were in the area for a wedding. While it wasn't a horrible place to stay, it didn't have quite the wow factor I was expecting. I do love how all of the Embassy Suites hotels are set up, with two separate rooms. It's also very... more

Ive always seen this property coming and going from the Kansas City area but never stayed. It was very refreshing, the hotel needs a few updates but overall was prettty decent. The only downfall was we had an early flight to catch and the hot breakfast service didnt start until 6 am. There are other options such as a Waffle... more

This is a good hotel chain. The food is good, the pool is OK, the rooms, bar, gym and staff are all good. Just understand that you are not the only person on the planet. They book a lot of events and sometimes it will intrude on your experience. I tend to stay a lot of nights and it averages... more

We booked an overnight stay to get away for a night. Shortly after we checked in we noticed a large group of young kids gathering for a convention. The first hour was fine and the room was clean and comfortable. We requested an extra pillow and coffee. We got pillows and blankets. We told the men that the television did... more

I've been staying in a lot of Hilton properties of late because my clients like them also and found this particular property to be just as nice as the Embassy Suites in Des Moines, Chicago, Minneapolis and Atlanta I have also stayed at previously, Look, the rooms are always clean, the bedding is comfotable, he shower works, and if you... more

I attended a meeting in KC at the Embassy Suites. and I was pleasently suprised. Checkin went very smoothly, my suite was very large, clean and comfortable. The managers reception and complimentary breakfast were very nice bonuses!! Staf was friendly. There was a computer available in the lobby which was handy for printing boarding passes etc. without paying the $10... more

If you are in need of a convenient, airport location hotel- this is a great choice. The staff was very friendly, the room was spotless, and most importantly, the bed was comfortable. The free morning breakfast was a nicer set-up than that offered by most Embassy Suites. Water pressure (or lack thereof) was a bit of a problem, but was... more

My husband and I stayed at this hotel on our wedding night. We booked a non-smoking room with a king size bed about 3-4 months before our wedding. Upon checking in at the hotel late after our wedding reception we were told that they had no non-smoking rooms available. This did not making sense seeing as how we had clearly... more

I stayed at this hotel for a workweek in early November 2006. My experience mirrors that of previous posters, however, I do not feel that it rose to the level of a "4" or "5" rating. The Embassy Suites brand offers a number of above-average amenities to begin with. This hotel delivered on them. The breakfast and manager reception were... more
