So, let me start by saying this may not be everyone's experience at this hotel, however, I will never, ever stay here again. It began when I checked in. The manager placed me on the first floor right around the corner from the lobby. I walked into my room and (I kid you not) there was a elliptical machine in... More

Stayed at this hotel for a 4 day tournament at Bartle Hall. Orlando, Paul, and Jacob were excellent shuttle drivers but the girls liked Orlando the best -- he sang to them in the mornings and they loved it. Our car moved once I think the entire time we were there as we shuttled everywhere. The room was great, beds... More

This experience was nice. From beginning to end the staff was amazing!! Paul, Nick, and the Omelet lady were all top notch customer service elite. Paul was great at promoting the hotel and shopping/dining activities for our 1 night stay. Nick was great with providing safe and outstanding travel to out requested destinations. The Omelet lady(I'm sorry I didn't get... More

Went to 816 with confirmation letter stating that they had king room with sitting area and jet bath tub. The sitting area turns out to be one chair next to bed and the tub was non-existant. They wanted to know what web site I found info on. It was not only their own site it was on the confirmation letter... More

This place is unique in the world of "boutique hotels". I have traveled far and wide for both business and pleasure, and prefer to stay in the small (usually) and funky (must be a better word) urban hotels that have started to emerge, and re-emerge. 816 is easily in the top five, except it doesn't come with the snobbery and... Front Desk.. Were very friendly and helpful.. Went out of there way to accommodate locating a fan for us. Provided extra pillows and towels very promptly. Were very knowledgeable about... More

Chose this hotel for its proximity to the Westport area and its advertisement as a charming "boutique" hotel. Unfortunately, what we got was a dimly lit and utterly depressing room. The staff is quite nice but the owners need to make an investment in bringing the actual hotel in line with what it claims to be. Will be checking out... More

This unique hotel has a staff that makes you feel welcome. Guy bartender was awesome (didn't meet the other one) we ended up staying in later than anticipated, sitting at the little bar. Not much booze selection enough to be content, but company made up for it. And hotels 2 free drinks..nice. The breakfast was good, a variety of food... More
