I stayed at the Country Hearth Inn and had a wonderful experience. The reason I chose them initially was because of their pet policy. My dogs travel with me, and thus I had to choose a pet friendly hotel. The hotel staff was very friendly, the room was exceptionally clean and the costs were very reasonable. The room was very... I stayed at the Country Hearth Inn I was traveling with my job.The hotel staff were polite and friendly, The rooms were quiet and clean, very comfortable. The room included a refrigerator microwave as well as a good TV with good channel lineup. I had dinner at the Ameristar Casino a short drive from the hotel. The next morning I... More

The bathrooms have mold on the shower heads, tile, and shower curtains. Stained carpet, and standing water in the hallways. VERY OUTDATED. More

This is by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. For starters there are several cars in the parking lot that need to be in the junk yard, with "The Club" on the steering wheel. Next there is an awful smell that hits you when you open your door. Then there are the rooms with dirty carpet, Pink, and... More

I am sorry about your disappointment with our hotel. We want all of our guests to feel at home. We have been working towards correcting the issue with the old cars. A problem that has been resolved. As for the complaints about mold and bed bugs - This hotel does not have an issue with either - as can be... More

At first arrival we were issued key cards... neither of which worked. theres limited access to your room considering all of the surrounding doors of the building do not open with key cards, although the clerk said they SHOULD. So it was a LONG walk to our room going through the front and continuing through the entire building. After getting... More

Hotel has been renamed Countyr Hearth. I was traveling alone on business. Big mistake to stay here. Only woman on property the rest were truck drivers stopping for the night. Room smelled like smoke despite strict nonsmoking policy. It was clean but, needed improvements. Bedspread needed replaced. Internet connection sucked and I was there to work. Also tv and remote... While we do have a large nunmber of commercial guests who choose to stay here at the Country Hearth Inn - I can assure you that this hotel is quite safe. Being positive you were not the only woman on property - we have several women who stay here and a large number of our staff is comprised of women.... More

If this hotel charged $49.99 for a single room, I wouldn't be writing this. But for $119.00 for a single, it absolutely was a terrible value. The toilet was "stained" with yellow (not positive it was stained as I didn't try to clean it) and the tub was black between the raised non-slip bumps on the floor. The AC was... More

For being a farely new hotel, only a couple years from being built from the ground up this hotel sucks. the furniture and bed are decent. the t.v's are all old as well as the excercise equipment what a joke. the breakfast is ok if you can stand rude attendants. the location is good if you work on the railroad,being... We were going to stay here but when we pulled up it looked too creepy. The hotel is in a secluded location and driving through the parking lot felt like we were in a rundown apartment complex. Not LQ's pride and joy. However, the staff on the phone was very friendly and helpful. More
