While on business in Kansas city, I wanted to stay right downtown without having to pay downtown rates. With my corporate rate, this little gem was $130 per night plus taxes and mandatory valet. Company paid, so not really an issue for me. Normally, I don't write reviews of my work stays, because they're usually uneventful. This trip was equally... More

I was here for eight nights on a business trip--a long time to stay in any hotel. It was a fine experience. The hotel is very nice, elegant, and clean. The beds are comfortable, and if you have any problems, the staff will see to them quickly. My only issue was that It can be a bit noisy on weekends... More

Loved it. Very charming hotel. Really liked the 1920s charm. Close to everything downtown. Would definitely recommend. Military discount knocked almost fifty off the room! Lots of great restaurants nearby. Across the street from the convention center. Hotel staff was very friendly service was 5 star.

The hotel is older, on the list of some type of historical sites. The bed was very comfortable, the room quiet and clean. The room was on the end of the hall and a little small, oddly shaped but nicely decorated. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable of the area.

Great location in downtown KC. Easy access to all the cool stuff in the Power and Light District, plus easy hop to Kaufmann Stadium. It's an older property (1925), but well maintained, clean and very affordable. The rooms aren't huge, but our room suited our needs quite well. If you want a retro feeling hotel for a smaller party, it's... More

Got worried with a few of the reviews but it was the essential big city ,older hotel type room. Quaint, clean & moderate sized room with a smaller city hotel bathroom as expected. Location was great for downtown K City & prices were as expected. It aint the Ritz but it aint Motel 8 either. Good, friendly staff helped the... More

Older hotel but the room was clean, comfortable bed, great value for the money. Parking available across the street for $12.00. Close to Sprint Center and Gas Light District. Staff was helpful. Would recommend.

Everything you would expect with old property. Bar was very small. Nothing special about rooms. Location was perfect. The Yard House just down the road made it easy to forget about the small bar. Breakfast was not good...it tasted like a free buffet but had to pay top dollar. .

I wanted to stay downtown on this trip, rather than on the Plaza or near the airport, and the Aladdin is in a great location -- close to the convention center, the Power & Light District and much more. The clincher was a $70 deal on Priceline. Seriously, where can you stay two nights in KC for $140? At that... More

This historical building has been remodeled, however, guests still get a feeling for how hotels were built in the 1920s. So, the hotel is old, nicely maintained with updated rooms. The lobby area is small but friendly. A small necessities area is across from the reception desk. At the rear of the lobby is the Zebra Restaurant, serving breakfast and... More
