I travel to KC and stay at the Ambassador once a month and I absolutely love it. The staff is warm and friendly, the rooms are great and Burt the driver extraordinaire is awesome. If you need a great restaurant recommendation, ask Burt- he is a foodie and will not steer you wrong.

My sister and I were in town for one night for a concert and to celebrate her birthday. Cool decor (but not self-consciously/pretentiously so), totally reasonable rate. The staff sent up a birthday brownie for my sister and then two mini bottles of prosecco for a post-show (and post-bar-hours) celebratory toast. No complaints at all!

Beautiful hotel in a great location. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were large and comfortable, with great decor. Our room was next to the street, so it got loud around 5 a.m. Next time I will request a room farther back. $18 parking seems a little high.

Wonderful place to stay downtown KC when meeting with friends, going to an event at Sprint Arena or to simply relax inside the place. The bar is a great place to meet with other guests enjoying a similar lifestyle as we do. Breakfast at the restaurant was perfect - but too much food if that is anything to criticize.

Like walking into the Gatsby era. Eclectic, gorgeous, & immaculate. I am OCD on cleanliness, this was pristine. Highly recommend for all, less children. In the power and light district so walking to anything is done. Everything at your service. Restaurant was superb.

The location of this hotel is excellent. We went to a concert at Sprint Center and the hotel is a short 2 blocks away. It is also close to restaurants in the area. The room and the service were excellent.

I cannot remember the last time I had such a good dining experience at a restaurant. Let alone a hotel restaurant. They make many of their ingredients in house, like the chocolate on their chocolate covered strawberries and some of the cheeses on their cheese and fruit platter and mac and cheese side dish. Also, their breakfast is phenomenal. I... More

A very nice hotel! Within walking distance to the Sprint Center. Very clean & beautiful hotel. Front desk staff very helpful. We purchased a package called "bed & breakfast" which includes $25 for breakfast but the prices are very high & they add 20% gratuity so fat chance of getting breakfast for the $25.00. During checkout I found out about... More

After reading other reviews for hotels in the area we chose the Ambassador for our KC stay. What a great decision we made. From the time we checked in we encountered friendly and helpful staff and amazing decor. Upon checking in we ate in the restaurant (The Reserve). The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The room was... More

We stayed here for a wedding while most other guests stayed at the Crown Plaza. They all hated their hotel and were kicking themselves for not booking at the Ambassador. I booked here because we've stayed at Ambassadors in Tulsa and OKC. We had the parlor suite which is wonderfully appointed but the selling feature is the extra 1/2 bath.... More
