Helpful staff, quiet, okay breakfast and good housekeeping personnel, but the furniture and decor are run down and shabby. With new furniture, carpeting, paint, and repairs of the many small problems (missing outlet covers, small gouges in walls) this could be a nice hotel. But then it would probably cost more. more

The room we stayed in was a fair quality for the price we paid ($60/night). The furniture seemed clean and the room was quiet despite the hotel being full with fans in town for the Yankees/Royals series. The front desk manager was helpful and quick at getting us checked-in and checked-out, and the hotel is very close to the highway... more

I agree, this hotel is a dump. There were stains on the bed and the furniture and carpet was damaged. This probably is an exception, the Baymont in North Kansas City is much better, I have stayed at both thru Priceline. SE Kansas City in general is bad, some of the restaurants are not safe to eat at, and the... more

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights June 1 - 3, 2005. The room had a foul odor, the beds were old and worn. the furniture was old and damaged. The room was not ready when we checked in at 3:50 PM. the second day the room wasn't cleaned until after 4 PM. We didn't receive all the towels when... more
