We were upgraded since it was our anniversary. The king suite was beautiful and the bathroom pretty luxurious, although no whirlpool, but very clean and relaxing. I've tried the hotel a few times and it wasn't a good stay. The staff is not helpful or courteous. The rooms were very mediocre for the price and it's not luxurious. The casino is too large and I have never seen anyone have good luck there. I don't think it pays out as well as other kansas city casino's.... more

I have stayed at this property several times over the past few years, usually on a discount or free from being a Star Rewards member. The rooms are wonderful, if you are an owl. The lighting is atrocious, but everything else is perfect. Do not plan to read anything in your room, including daytime.
