We have stayed at many Hamptons over the years, this one was below average for the places we have stayed. First the positive. Parking is excellent underground, evening beverages/light snacks was a nice touch as were the free cookies at check-in. In-room temp control was good without the typical loud window unit. Now the not so good. TV was shot... more

I was in town for a training session with my company. This hampton inn isn't like the rest I have been in. The meeting room was huge but looked great and the staff was able to help us with any additional request. The fitness center was larger than i expected as well and the machines appeared to be new. more

My friends and I came to KC for the weekend and stayed at our usual place - The Hampton Inn & Suites in Country Club Plaza. I am always amazed at the cleanliness of this hotel - everything is always spotless. The new beds are oh-so comfortable and the white duvet covers (which would easily show dirt) are always spic-and-span.... more

I live in Vermont and I travel to Kansas City for Business quite often. I have to say I have been staying at the Hampton Inn & Suites on the Country Club Plaza for 5+ years and I have never had a bad experience, and I travel more then 120+ days a year. Everyone at the hotel bends over backwards... more

We had a nice weekend at this hotel. The rooms are clean. The shower was spacious and clean. The bed was firm but comfy. The bathroom drains did make some gurgling noises but not real big deal. The complimentary breakfast was very good and the kitchen staff was excellent. The location was perfect, only a block from the Plaza. Overall,... more

Had friends in for a brewery tour. The rooms were really clean and I appreciated the duvets on the bed as I could see they were spotless. Location and breakfast were both super. Staff was friendly. Really close to Plaza shopping. more

Came into town for the Royals home opener. We lost the game but the stay at the Hampton was wonderful. The reception desk was very friendly and did a great job recommending all the nearby wonderful restaurants. The bed was comfy. The TV was a brand new flat panel. We went for a quick dip in their stainless steel pool... more

If you're looking for a filthy hotel that has viscious biting bugs in all the sheets, bathroom sinks that leak all over the floor, and a staff that couldn't care less - this is the hotel for you! Upon check in to the Hampton, I was pretty unsatisfied with my smelly room that immediately had the bathroom sink leaking all... more

A rather typical Hampton Inn in a 9 story high rise configuration. Pros: * Great Location! Right off of County Club Plaza and in easy walking distance to great shopping and restaurants. * Free parking garage under the hotel. No scrapping frost off my windows in the morning. * Friendly staff Cons: * Walls were rather thin and conversations really... more

This place was really nice. It was very clean. My husband and I stayed two nights over the weekend. It is just off the main road through the plaza, very good location. We had no problems except that my husbands room key wouldn't work, but we didn't really need it anyway and we didn't ask for a new one either.... more
