I stay at Marriott brand hotels all over the country with 40 plus stay a year. I have never been so unpleased with hotel in my life. It was poring rain and after 10 pm and our key wouldn't unlock a side door with a key card lock. So we had to walk in the rain to the front where... More

Dirty and older rooms. Smells smoky. Way to expensive for what you get. Complained to guy at front desk and he was not willing to upgrade us. Very old and outdated like i said for what you get. Will be looking for something better next time

I'm partial to a particular Fairfield Inn, but this one was nice too. Great breakfast options. Extremely friendly staff that got me a room away from my father and his wife when I checked in. Great location near downtown without being downtown with a shuttle that leaves every 30 minutes.

I stay at this location 3 times a week for work and have so for 9 years. This hotel has it all. Its in a great location in the city. The staff is wonderful. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Its quiet even on busy weekends. They have security on site. They have hot breakfast in the... More

We were trying to find a reasonable priced hotel near the heart of downtown and this place seemed to fit the bill. It is clean and in OK shape (could use a bit of updating, but not bad) and the employees were all friendly and helpful. The hotel provides a free shuttle service within a certain geographic area, and the... More

in town for a volleyball tournament. This hotel was very close to the convention center, well within the range of the FREE shuttle. Room was nice size and clean. There are many attractions nearby where you may walk or take shuttle, with several restaurants in the downtown area. Breakfast was hot and varied each morning of our stay (we were... More

I loved the location of this hotel. Im not a big fan of Fairfield Inn's but this one lived up to my expectations. A short drive to the heart of downtown. This hotel is definitely a good location if you want to stay somewhere convenient and affordable but still close to downtown. There are plenty of food options in the... More

My wife, son and I spent 4 days enjoying the highlights of Kansas City and wanted to lodge at a location that was close to everything. This Fairfield is exactly what we were looking for. World War 1 Monument is walking distance, the Crown Plaza, Country Club Plaza and the Power and Light District are a short (<5 min) drive.... More

I was traveling to KC overnight on business and this was the closest, most convenient hotel to our meeting. The room was an average, if somewhat run-down, Marriott property until I turned on the Air Conditioning unit the next morning. Smelled very strongly of ammonia, as if someone had urinated into the wall unit. Gross.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. I want to assure you that we have addressed the situation and it has been remedied. In the end, we do not know what caused the odorbut I certainly appreciate you bringing it to my attention so the next guest does not have that experience. More
