One of the nicest rooms of all time. An airport hotel that I wish was in ANY big city. Gigantic room with a 42" HD TV. Free continental breakfast with a shuttle to MCI. A no frill bar and very nice no-frill food situation. Even a nice pool if you have the time. $40 was ridiculous and $100 is a... more

PROS: Beautiful décor, flat screen TV on swivel stand, lots of room to move around, could potentially sleep 6 persons, nearby mall with lots of dining and shopping, close to the airport for early morning flights, great breakfast room, wine and beer bar downstairs, free computer room, decent shower pressure, all amenities you can think of are in your room.... more

We got a great Hotwire deal on this one, approximaley 70 dollars before tax. The hotel was recently renovated and it shows. The rooms were beautiful. The 42 inch flat screen was a surprise. The sink and fridge handy. The beds were great. This hotel would be a good base for business trips to north KC or if you need... more

Hyatt Place hotels are fantastic places to stay when forced to be near an airport. I stayed here for 2 nights, and it was a great experience. The old reviews of this hotel in its transition or as an Amerisuites are still on Trip Advisor, so I had no basis to even try this place out. I stayed here because... more

The good: Amerisuites is becomming "Hyatt Place". As part of this switch, the rooms have been upgraded and are very spacious for the price. 1. A whopping 42" Plasma adorns the room. Wow. Overkill? 2. Bed was comfortable and pillows were very nice. 3. Everything was very clean. Maids did a perfect job of cleanup, and were very thorough. 4.... more

I took a group of young children and parents to visit Worlds of Fun and we stayed in 6 rooms at the Amerisuites. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The shower did start out cold but warmed up to a comfortable temperature. The breakfast was good. The bed was comfortable enough. My only complaints were that I had to... more

I stayed at the Amersuites in Kansas City for a short business trip. I chose the hotel due to the location (north of the city near the airport) and the fact that I got a great rate of $69 for a suite. My travel required an early check-in (around noon) which was no problem. The desk clerk was very friendly... more

Rooms were decent especially considering the price of $79. My reservation was for a smoking room since non-smoking was unavailable. The hallway on the floor smelled like smoke but the room did not. Breakfast was okay, not 'horrid' in my opinion like an previous review stated. Waffles were actually VERY good. My major complaint: No hot water for showers! Every... more

Stayed three nights at the hotel for a business meeting. Conference facilities were standard. Breakfast buffet was minimal. Frequently had no forks or spoons. Quality of food was fair. The coffee was horrid and seemed to be linked to the water quality, as hot water from the decanter was more than a little cloudy. Management party was horrendous. Your standard... more

I was staying for a long period of time for work. The hotel is nice besides no high speed internet. The staff was very bad. The message that i needed to get picked up at the airport never got past the girl at the front desk because she was talking to her boyfriend. 2 hours later after 6 calls finaly... more
