I stayed at the marriott in down town KS for a professional convention. The staff was wonderful, accommodating, to the point of being over the top...but isn't that what staying at a luxury down town hotel is about? I stayed in the Marriott two years ago in the other building next to the Aladin and was NOT happy. There was... More

I stayed here while on business and this hotel was excellent. My room was really clean and comfortable. The hotel has a walkway between two different room towers and I was staying in the hotel across the walkway and it was great. I had a wonderful window looking down on the city. The hotel is close to the conference center... More

The Kansas City Marriott is a nice, large Marriott property in downtown Kansas City. As numerous others have noted, the hotel is great if you are looking for something in downtown KC close to the convention center, business district, Sprint Center, and Power and Light District. The hotel has excellent public areas including an updated lobby and bar/restaurant. The concierge... More

This Marriott definitely has the feel of other Marriotts around the country. It's definitely in the upper half of quality of hotel options, but not terribly luxurious. Clean and comfortable with all the modern furnishings. This downtown KC Marriott had updated and modern rooms, but the lobby and other elements looked a bit dated. The hotel is located very close... The good: Self park available if you don't want to do valet. Exceptionally friendly staff. Easy location downtown. Comfortable bed. Clean Room. The okay: Bathroom seems a little old. The bad: The tub and sink both drained slowly. Most of the cable channels were snowy. There is no excuse for having a hotel without a lot of easily available outlets... More

We stayed at the KC Marriott downtown to attend a concert at the Sprint Center. The hotel is within walking distance of the Sprint Center and many of the downtown KC attractions. Check-in was quick and easy and our room was prepared in advance (I am a Marriott Rewards Silver Member). This hotel consists of two buildings - one that... More

If you are traveling to KC for any reason and want to be close to the "Power and Light" district, you're easily within a block's walking distance from that, the Midland venue, and a easy quick access to the main interstate. The hotel itself is beautiful, the lobby/lounge/bar area is really nice. Much better than other Marriott properties I've seen.... More

Went to KC for a conference. Hotel had many of the participants. The room was so comfortable. The service was great. My one complaint was the elevators which were challenged by the many people trying to go up and down all at the same time. Overall a great place to stay while attending a conference in KC.

The Marriott hotel was perfect. The rooms were clean, the staff was quick and efficient and very courteous. It's a walk away from the convention center.
