This was the first place we stayed on our recent 2 week trip out west. What a great way to start a vacation! The room was clean and the beds were very comfy. The staff was friendly. We stayed at the Joplin Hampton overnight on a cross-country trip. It was fine. This appeared to be an older property, but had been maintained well. The room was clean, had the Hampton bedding and even had a small microwave and refrigerator, which would be a plus for someone staying longer than a quick overnight. Fresh cookies available when I checked in. The person working the front desk was more than willing to get me milk even though the breakfast area was locked up (this was after 4pm). Not a huge hassle for her, they were not busy. Cannot wirelessly print to the business center printer in the lobby. But there is free wireless internet.... more
