I would rate this motel a 10 out of 10 regarding rate, very friendly staff, cleanliness, breakfast, quality of bed, quietness, and service. more

Got one of those hotel books at the welcome to missouri place. Cost us $60 / night. Bed was brand new, the room was very clean (and was identical to the picture on this site). The door didn't fit and let the light in, but that's been the way of all the hotels on our trips. And there is no... more

This hotel had no exhaust fan in bathroom, there was mold in the cracks around the ceiling. The outdoor pool wasn`t open for use .The indoor pool was only open for a short time due to 'maintenance issues'. The hot tub never did open which was very disappointing. We were looking forward to room service but come to find out there... more

This motel is still a joke for a larger city off the I-44 junction. You would be better off staying at motel 6, the only good thing is the new beds in the queen and king rooms non-smoker section -- God help if you have breathing problems if you do avoid the 3rd floor it stinks - Dogs, Smoke, Urine,... more

We recently made a short trip through Nebraska, Iowa and Missouri and of the five hotels we stayed at, this was by far the worst experience. The property is older and shows it's age ... having several maintenance issues. 1. The room keycard did not open the outside door nearest our room however another door at the end of the... more

My girlfriend and I were on our way back to Arkansas from KC and wanted to get a jacuzzi room with some La Quinta points I had. This was a Sunday in January, one of the days of the conference championship football games (AZ vs. Phi, Bal vs. Pit). Cehcked in around 3 and the first jacuzzi room reaked of... more

the La quinta Inn in Joplin added several new executive suites apparently completed in December 07. The suites are nice, but have one very major problem! The venting system normally found in a bathroom was not used. the contractors apprently decided to use a"continious venting system". The only problem is that it does not work , at least in the... more

My sister and I stayed at the La Quinta (remodeled from an old Ramada) in March. We really loved the beds. Super comfortable. The rooms are quite small, but who cares when everything else is comfortable. The staff was especially nice. I should say that on most of our former trips to Joplin, where my father lives, we were traveling with... more

We stayed at this hotel during our Christmas vacation. First, our key didn't work to the outside door. Then when we finally arrived to our room we noticed a horrible rotten smell coming from our bathroom. There was nothing in the bathroom; it just had a terrible rotten egg smell! We decided to try and stick it out for the... more

I contacted the Ramada in Joplin days prior to cancell my reservation. Months later they charged my account and still have not refunded my money. I contacted the General Manager and she never replied to my call or provided any information as to why they charged my card but won't refund the account. I contacted the hotel today and was... more
