Stayed there the last week in June 2015, and the hotel was going through some major renovations, especially on the second floor. The carpets were being replaced, and the hallways repainted. This hotel provided even lent service. There was a hot variety at breakfast every morning and the staff was excellent. They seemed engaged and interested in the event we were attending across the street at capital plaza. While hotel was smaller; the room quality was far better than that offered at the surrounding hotels and the price was quite affordable.... More

All new staff who aren't well trained, so no one knows how to do much. I was told there was a military discount, but the general manager didn't even know how to apply it! We were in the area for a sporting event & the majority of our team stayed here. When we checked in, we provided a different credit card than we held the reservation with & though we weren't supposed to be charged until check-out on Sunday, the front desk charged the ORIGINAL card on Saturday. Our stay was wonderful, the carpet in the lobby and elevator where not well kept, but our room was very clean and inviting, Jake the bartender" ROCKED", he is a real asset to the hotel we will definitely be back. Thanks
