The only place in town, and I'm in room 3...I didn't have my hopes up, and was I surprised...Clean, cozy, comfy bed, lots of channels on the LCD tv, fast wi-fi, and the management was wonderful...you bet I'll stay there again...

The Inn has real potential of becoming a charming place to stay. The couple that owns the inn are very nice and bent over backwards to accommodate our large party. That being said the room my family stayed in had a strong clorox and urine smell. There was some kind of black stuff on the floor in a corner in... More

We had the room next to the laundry room and although the attendant said she was still doing laundry, we informed her that my husband was a light sleeper and they needed to stop by 10 p.m., which they did. The sheets and bathmat were very nice and the room decor was beautiful. There was no phone in the room,... More

We have stayed at this hotel once a year for 10+ years. Although the lobby and breakfast area are questionable, our room has always been clean. Our recent stay was a pleasant surprise as the beds had new (I assume) mattresses and pillows which were very comfortable. It's not the Hilton but for the price it can't be beat. For... More

Nice room, however it is next to the laundry room. The room (& bed) shook when the washer spun. We tried to contact the lobby/staff from 9pm until 11pm when we finally were able to get hold of them and ask them to stop. They got mad but did begrudgingly stop. The next day she was still mad and avoided... More

When we arrived at Jamesport Inn we found a filthy and ramshackle building. The walls werecovered with the same layer of dirt, dust, and dirt that we saw on the board walk-ways and outdoor furniture. The rooms were okay, but there was no hot water and the rough hewn woodwork held a layer of dust and webs. There is mo... More

The room was surprisingly clean while the rest of the facility was in shambles. They are remodeling? The mattress was sunken in. The lobby area was dirty. The breakfast area was pretty much non existent. The patio hadn't been swept in months (leaves were still there from the fall). I wonder if anything got cleaned based upon the overall appearance...
