We spent 2 nights at Bells this last weekend. Overall we found the hotel very relaxing and well situated. We stayed in a King Spa room, and although very spacious and comfortable, we found it quite a dark room, with little natural light coming into the room. Their was a small bar fridge in the room but not stocked other... More

We had a really great weekend at Bells recently staying in a one bedroomed chalet that was overlooking the green fields and even though it was a little wet outside we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The weekend was to celebrate a wedding in the Saturday evening and then we stayed an extra night to really enjoy the tranquility of the area.... More

Rooms are very comfy, beds great sleep. Dinner at Manfredi was a real highlight. Meals are done with Italian flair as you overlook the peaceful lawns. You feel like you've escaped from hustled city life just for one night.

In need of some total R&R, we booked a weekend away at Bells looking forward to some real sleep and rest and Bells happily delivered :). We enjoyed a great weekend of sleep, reading the papers, 2 hour breakfasts, swimming in the sea and good food. I was slightly worried beforehand about some of the basic rooms (the cheapest room... Checked in today. Room ready but still had to wait until room inspector had checked room. Got to room and shampoo missing. No ice but staff didn't know whether there were freezers in the fridge. No one offered to help with bags to room. Asked for dinner booking to be made and were told we would get a message back.... More

The restaurant at Bells was very good indeed. We were given a table on the verandah outside, overlooking the lovely formal garden. It was a little cool but gas heaters took any chill off. We had a selection of entrees, including the misto, soup of the day, risotto and a soufflé. Mains were grilled whole fish and fillet steak. All... More

We had dinner in the restaurant here on two occasions and both meals were excellent. Waiting staff were smart and attentive; food and drink advice were spot on. Breakfast was also of a very high standard - lots of choice and excellent quality. Again, service was impressive and sitting out on the veranda on a sunny morning was a real... More

Stayed here for a weekend to celebrate an anniversary. Pricey but worth it. The estate is beautiful. You are nestled away in secluded cottages in the midst of picturesque gardens. It definitely feels like you've escaped from the rat race of Sydney. The cottage itself is lovely. We had the room with the normal (not spa) bath. The bathtub was... More

Just had a 1 night stay in a two storey cottage, including the degustation dinner, full breakfast and a couples massage. We loved the whole feel of the hotel and the grounds and our cottage - on arrival the staff were very relaxed and helpful, suggesting a guided walk and serving us coffee. We parked at Maitland bay, car park,... More

It appears I was there the same day as "Rip Off Credit Card Fees-Beware" who posted below, but my experience was vastly different. I booked a room and meal package months ago for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. We kicked our stay off with a couples massage which was $250 for 2 people for 70 minutes and I think good value... More
