We just finished our trip to Tasmania and loved this place. Lovely people and the accommodation was great and log fire was great . The only issue was that toilet was down stairs. We had fresh eggs and bacon provided daily . Found it a great base to visit Hobart, Port Arthur and Richmond

If you are looking for a rural farm experience but within a half hour drive to the center of Hobart you will not find a better stop than Daisy Bank Cottages. Ben and Hannah Jones have converted an old barn on the family two into two of the loveliest cottages in Tasmania. When you arrive you are greeted by Charlie... More

It was an absolute treat for us to spend a week at Daisy Bank Cottages. We felt utterly at home in the rich and quite unique pastoral heritage that the cottage exuded - beautiful landscape, still working farm, sheep, friendly dogs and a lovely young family now running the farm. Eggs and bacon each morning for breakfast were just a... More

This truly is a wonderful property. The place is beautiful, and immaculately presented. With only two rooms on the property you'll never feel overlooked. I was provided both days with breakfast provisions that went far beyond my expectations; bacon, eggs, bread, cereals, jams, coffee and tea, and milk. I write this sitting here with a cold beverage in front of... More

My husband and I stayed in the Daisy bank spa cottage in Febuary this year. What a beautiful place to stay, it felt so homely and peaceful. Hanna our host greeted us with a warm welcome . There was fresh eggs and bacon in the fridge, abowl of fruit on the table, we could not ask for more. I would... More

My husband and I spent two nights here and it was a truly memorable stay for us. The cottage has a warm feeling and is a home away from home. We loved the way it is furnished with a balance of modern amenities yet with a hearty fireplace and antique furniture. Kitchen and bathroom facilities are excellent, everything was clean... More

My wife and I stayed at Daisy Bank Cottages in December 2014. Upon arrival we were greeted with a warm welcome and were lucky enough to meet the two beautiful Smithfield sheepdogs Charlie and Patch! The cottage we stayed in was brilliant - clean, spacious and oozing genuine rustic charm, we couldn't have asked for a better first taste of... More

We stayed for two nights in the spa cottage and had a really nice time. The cottage has been done with a lot of attention to detail: from a well equipped kitchen, lovely furniture to child proof wood burning stove. We liked the friendly owners and their dogs and enjoyed hiking on the farm. The breakfast supplies were excellent. We'd... More

We had a lovely 4 night stay at Daisy Banks, we have two small kids and thought it would work better than staying in Hobart. It was the right decision. Our kids had the best time collecting eggs, playing with the dogs and little lamb. The cottage is really pretty and the breakfast provisions delicious. I recommend it.

Having stayed in 3 different accommodation in our family Tasmanian trip, this was by far the best. We were greeted by friendly owner of the property who took the time to explain the facilities within the cottage, as well as what was happening on the farm. The cottage had nice balanced country style interior, with good mixture of modern amenities,... More
