Ask for a room on the second level to get a sweet ocean breeze that'll have you dreaming of coconuts, sun cream and Nemo. Naylamp has been one of my favourite hostels across Sth America. It's the duck's nuts oh zentown. I suggest you book a few extra nights.

The Naylamp is a fantastic hostel to stay at in Huanchaco. We stayed in a private double room and it was clean and the shower pressure and hot water worked perfectly! The staff can't do enough to accommodate you and we enjoyed breakfast everyday on the balcony overlooking the ocean. The restaurant is adequate and we never had a bad... More

This place was awesome. We stayed in a room in the lower block but I really wish we'd had a tent, as we spent most of our time in the upper camping block either cooking in the kitchen, lazing in the hammocks, reading, or watching the ocean. You can hear the sea from anywhere in this place! Not a luxury... More

This is a good, basic, place with very nice people running it, good food and just nice rooms. The pictures are this site are a good representation of the choices here. There is the older place up front with the new building, and campsites, up behind, across the road. This is not as inconvenient as it sounds as the newer,... More

The wifi gets a bit spotty, but there are beautiful views, great services, and the food is awesome. Great place for a beach getaway on a budget. I recommend trying their pizzas, they are delicious! The camping area has a spot for campfires, and every morning breakfast overlooks the ocean!

Rooms are tiny but clean and all staff are qualified and very kind! Great place to meet other surf buddy!! Restaurant is not included but is inside the structure.. You must have a breakfast there and try "tortilla queso y tocino"!!

Stayed here for 3 nights and really enjoyed my stay. I had them arrange a taxi from the airport and was there in no time. Nice comfortable rooms with great little atrium. Restaurant on site, with plenty of ones in the neighborhood. Nice place and recommend it!

I spent months there nearly every year since 2009, I will always go back. Up to date information and service, Friendly staff, punctual and helpful. The food is without a shred of doubt excellent! Night watch and reception highly professional! Every month there are two or three trucks converted in buses with world travellers that stay there for a few... More

I camped at Nylamp for about 3 weeks. If you're staying for awhile it doesn't hurt to try and negotiate a price. There are hot showers and the restaurant is halfway decent. The camping area is spacious and you can hear the waves all night and day. I suggest this hostel to anyone coming to huanchaco

Naylamp ticked all the boxes - clean, quiet, comfortable.. From what I could see, Huanchaco had a limited quota of decent places to stay (and eat). I didn't book anything, and on arrival I checked out a bunch of places, and this seemed the best. Sorry, that isn't the most flattering write up.. In fact Naylamp stands on its own... More
