I spent months there nearly every year since 2009, I will always go back. Up to date information and service, Friendly staff, punctual and helpful. The food is without a shred of doubt excellent! Night watch and reception highly professional! Every month there are two or three trucks converted in buses with world travellers that stay there for a few... More

I camped at Nylamp for about 3 weeks. If you're staying for awhile it doesn't hurt to try and negotiate a price. There are hot showers and the restaurant is halfway decent. The camping area is spacious and you can hear the waves all night and day. I suggest this hostel to anyone coming to huanchaco

Naylamp ticked all the boxes - clean, quiet, comfortable.. From what I could see, Huanchaco had a limited quota of decent places to stay (and eat). I didn't book anything, and on arrival I checked out a bunch of places, and this seemed the best. Sorry, that isn't the most flattering write up.. In fact Naylamp stands on its own... More

Naylamp is located right on the beach. It has many rooms but it feels spacious because the communal areas are outside. There are camping spots and there is a small kitchen. The food is very good, staff friendly and helpful. Go to the highest point to see the stunning sunset! And visit 'Otra Cosa' two doors away if you like... More

It's a beautiful hostel, whit two quite nice common areas, one in the area camping and the another on the main building. Staff is nice and very helpful to give instructions or any ask that you have on things to do in Huanchaco. The beach in front off is really nice too.

The camp kitchen was OK but the camping area was far too crowded. Initially it wasn't too bad although a very small area but then another overland truck arrived and we could hardly even get out of our door because another tent was so close. The greed of the owners impacted adversely on our experience. Also, the toilets were not... More

One of the best hostels I have stayed in. As Huanchaco and Northern Peru grow I envisage this hostel will become a major stop for all. Staff very friendly, efficient and always available. Restaurant serves up very good Western fare all day and is staffed by professional cooks. Site is huge! From the numerous terraces, hammocks, garden, and self-catering kitchen... More

Perfect place to stay! Right at the beach of Huanchacco, all kinds of restaurants in the neighborhood. Nice dorms with lockers. Decent bathrooms. Decent WiFi. Lots of chill out areas with hammocks and stuff. Very nice breakfast available for fair prices. Very nice and helpful staff and owners. They can also book you tours to the Trujillo sightseeing spots or... More

Great quiet spot across the street from the beach in Huanchaco. 50 per night for a matrimonial overlooking the courtyard with hammocks and tables. We used the public kitchen across the street in their camping area. The manager was a grump, but all other staff and guests were kind and eager to share a smile or travel tips.

After long day & night yourney from Machu Picchu, we reached Huanchaco at 3 in the morning. We have seen the big door closed, but inside little paradise. Patio full of palms, trees, flowers, hammocks, chairs Super to have a rest from traveling and sightseeing. Just sitting on the beach and swimming in the ocean. Many rooms to choose and... More
