The hostal has a pool and is very beautiful, the rooms are comfortable and nice, it's not luxurious but still very nice. We could do all of the tours to Huacachina and to Islas Ballestas and La Reserva from there and it was very good.

We ended our Peru trip in Paracas wich was a good choice! Refugio del Pirata 2 was a great place to relax at the side of the pool. Clean, good service, parking, helping planning trips (commercial and non), arranging transport, etc.

Stayed in this hostel for one night as a part of a tour with a group. We couldn't chose but if you can try to stay out of it. We stayed in the building with the reception and the rooms were in badly need of a fix up. No fan or AC and with no windows facing the outside it... More

I really liked this hotel. It is obviously the newer part as check in is across the main road and has a great court yard with a nice looking pool which I did not get to try since it was cold and windy. The room itself is sort of primitive. Like a pirate place. But it has a great deck,... More

For a night in Paracas this place was pleasant. The staff were nice and helpful. The room (across the street addition) was adequate and clean. Hot shower. Breakfast was continental(bread, coffee and juice only) but had fresh squeezed OJ which was a treat after the "Tang like" OJ we received all over Peru. This place is not on the ocean... More

Small room with 3 beds overlooking the extension area once they have made enough money to extend. Poor wifi, nice looking pool, no roof terrace as described in LP Peru and a feeling that we were yet more cash cows passing through Paracas. We were able to use the office across the street to secure our packs in while we... More

We stayed here for one night which was ok but I would not stay longer. We were in the old part as they gave those rooms for 80 soles due to low season. Ok for the money. Rooms are nothing special, bathroom small with hot shower but noisy area outside. Breakfast was not included. Hotel needs serious renovation. But for... More

This Hotel is a bit special. It has two parts. The older part is on the "ocean-side" and the newer part (with pool) is on the other side of the (quite noisy) street. We actually only stayed there because I misunderstood the price of the doubleroom. I heard something about 65 soles and (if I'm not mistaken) the Lonely Planet... More

Worst of all in this place is the dishonest management above all else. I will get to that in the end. We stayed at this place for one night. We got a room on the old side of the hotel no pool or WiFi. On the other hand the pool side was very noisy and we met some people trying... More

We stayed for one night in April 2014. Since it was holy week (Easter) the price we paid was little higher than we would have liked to pay. It was a very basic room but clean and comfortable. It is walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Has a great terrace with good views and a good breakfast. Staff was... More
