Relaxing, beautiful setting, very comfortable beach house, friendly and helpful staff. The weather in January was perfect and the beaches were empty and beautiful. All in all a perfect spot for a great vacation. Would recommend renting bicycles to make it easier to go into town and explore. More

The pictures do not do Casa Las Piedras justice! What a wonderful place to relax and enjoy life. We had a party of 8 staying here. The food was superb, and the house a dream! It was so quiet, except for the sounds of the Ocean. We would return to this spot in a heart beat. More

Although this might seem a little late for a review, considering we were there last February, it's also being written in anticipation of our return! We spent 3 nights at Casa Las Piedras last year and will be spending 7 nights this year...arriving in 4 weeks, to be exact. Anais, the house manager, is a true gem. She is an... More

A stay at Casa Las Piedras feels like being at a friend's beach house...very casual, warm, and relaxing. Every morning, the friendly staff prepares breakfast, cleans your room, and then disappears to their living quarters on the property.....available should you need them, but out of sight for your privacy. The grounds are beautifully maintained, the infinity pool faces the ocean,... More

We really got Lucky with this Live Auction Item. We were not sure what we had actually bid on until we arrived. After getting over the concerns about safety in Mexico (this place is very safe) we made our way to this small fishing village north of Ixtapa. The size of the house was perfect for four couples, (we all... More

Unfortunately there are many of us who have gotten the word out on how wonderful Casa Las Piedras is. So now we have to compete with all of you for availability! Can't say anything that hasn't already been said. The location is perfect---nice walk to Manzanillo Bay to the north and to Troncones proper to the south. Walk the road... More

I must say I am reluctant to recommend Casa las Piedras; reluctant to SHARE this place with the rest of you!! We had a wonderful, relaxing stay. The Casa is nicely appointed, the price quite reasonable, the communication via email smooth, the wonderful variety of breakfasts deliciously done by Anai and her staff, and finally my own stretch of body... It got cold in the central mountains of Mexico. So cold that, on a whim, we decided we needed to get out of town. We had never been to Troncones, the closest beach to San Miguel de Allende. After conversations with friends who know Troncones, and a serious web search, we found Casa Las Piedras, made a reservation and jumped... More

I am anxiously awaiting the day we can return to Casa de Piedra in Troncones, Mexico! I find myself dreaming of it when i want to get my mind of problems as it is positively one of my favorite memories!!!! My husband and I met with our children to have a family reunion. We rented the whole house! The staff... More

In all my travels, I have never found a more tranquil, gorgeous B&B. My wife and I came here on our honeymoon in January 2009. It is hard to think of anything that could make this place better. Gorgeous architecture in the house with real tree trunks holding up the roof columns, incredible tile and stonework, and a dining/kitchen area... More
