I spent 2 months in Zihua this winter. I decided to take the bus to Troncones one day. The public transportation is fantastic. I walked for miles on the magnificent beach and decided that I absolutely had to come back and spend the night. Mi Casa Es Su Casa had caught my eye because it is so colorful, has a... More

Lovely place to stay in Troncones. The staff are very friendly and make you feel at home. The on site restaurant is excellent plus they support the local children. Rooms are very clean, location is ideal, good wifi, small shops right across the street. The only negative is we didn't get any hot water but it is a small trade... More

Stayed here December 29th until January 5th 2015..... Fantastic hotel with all the staff extremely friendly, could not do enough for us. From the maids to the bar guys they were all fantastic. A personal thank you to Louis and Nancy who looked after our every need around the premium pool area.👍

We, a family of four, stayed for only one night. Troncones is a bit overbuilt and over-crowded if you are looking to get out of the rat race. It is good compared to Ixtapa but you can find beaches that are more remote. As a hotel first the +'s * Verandas are second to none. Great job of providing a... More

I feel so at home here. A wonderful family run hotel on the beach. Beautifully kept. So relaxing to sit and watch the waves. Spacious beautiful rooms with kitchens, AC, ceiling fan, porch w/hammock. Great restaurant right on the beach. Everyone here has been so helpful with my family's needs. I recommend it highly.

Troncones is a hidden away spot but well worth the visit. I was warned about travelling in Guerrero but I felt safe at all times and had no issues at all. The location is right in the center of town with access to everything you need, A surf break right out front was a big bonus, Nice clean rooms and... More

We stayed here two nights and tried to learn to surf. While the waves weren't very good for beginners we really enjoyed our time at the hotel. The rooms were really nice and spacious. We had our hammock on a deck. We enjoyed using the pool area and ate at the restaurant. Both the hotel and restaurant staff were very... More

we were passing by and stayed only for a couple of days, on our way to see the family in Morelia, too bad we already had reservations at the Barcelo in our way back, this little hotel is exactly what any one, who's looking for solitude and contact with nature, is looking for. We walked along the beach, about 3... More

We only went out to eat twice while we were in Troncones (end of May) because we got horribly spoiled at our vacation rental. However, the Steakhouse at Mi Casa Es Su Casa deserves props. Of course we went on the recommendation of Lupe the lovely woman who we were blessed as having as our house keeper and cook all... More

I was not expecting a 5 star hotel nor a hotel boutique, however, there is people pretending to run a hotel when they do not have the skills. Poor managed, ragged towels, dirty rooms, not hot water, loud a/c, but the worst is the pool, it was so filthy and since it is shared by the restaurant guests, who are... More
