Just returned from our trip to Mexico and spent 4 days at the heavenly Inn at Manzanillo Bay in Troncones. It was a blissful quiet haven and contrast from the hotel zone in Ixtapa. We had our private bungalow with hammock by a lovely cool pool, and ocean beach just beyond...slept to the sound of the ocean waves. You really... More

We had a wonderful stay at the Inn at Manzanillo Bay at the end of January. If you are planning a trip to Zihuatanejo or Ixtapa, I encourage you to add a few days in Troncones at the Inn at Manzanillo Bay-the best beach and hotel in the area. You will be pampered by the super friendly staff, especially the... More

We stayed here for a little over a week in September 2014. Everything was just perfect. We stayed in one of the suite rooms over the reception area - you won't have an ocean view but will look out at pretty greenery. If you stay in one of the two suite-type rooms you'll have air conditioning and a small television,... More

We had a forcast of rain and stormy weather for the whole week, they were wrong! We had maybe one day of rain and that was it. Surf was best in the morning since the wind picked up in the afternoon. Good selection of fun and long boards to rent (didn't have to pay the outrages board fees and the... More

I typically prefer to stay somewhere with my own kitchen when I go on a surf trip so I hesitated when making this reservation, but from the first couple of emails asking questions all the way through ever aspect of my stay - the service was exceptional, the room was so comfortable, the grounds are beautiful, and I had better... *We went to the Inn and it was our first time in Mexico. We loved it immediately, when we landed and put our luggages in the bedroom we knew we'd had a great time. I love the fact that this place is small, so different from big hotels. They have something like 8 little houses, how can you beat that.... More

Belem and her people really make you feel like you are familia when you step through the doors. If you are looking for a surf trip where you can surf, eat, drink (big boy tequila) and sleep all in the same place this is it! The food is awesome, the people are sweet and the waves are fun! This is... More

We had previously driven through Troncones and stopped for a quick look at the Inn. On that trip it met 99% of our requirements, and after staying there we highly recommend it at the 99% level. No one ever gets 100%! The food was outstanding, the rooms clean and well-kept, and the staff very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed two... More

I spent 2 weeks here with my boyfriend and I have nothing but amazing things to say... the service, hospitality and cleanliness were all first-rate, and it was very safe. Within 3 days, we were on a first name basis with most of the staff and had already met the owners. I have traveled throughout much of Europe and North... More

This was our 4th trip to Troncones and our 2nd stay at the Inn and it was our best trip ever. We spent 8 days and it was perfect. The staff is top notch, and they go out their way to make sure all of your needs are taken care of. We stayed in the "Surf-Check" bunglaw which I recommend... More
