I loved this place! Amazing views and a block from the city. Super cheap too for what we got. The host knows the town and you get deals off surfing rentals. Very safe and clean. Nice laid back place. more

We had a super great time here! Duende Vista is very special and definitely not for everyone. We stayed in the first room on the right when heading up the stairs. It was facing the street, so the noise from the plaza carried over and was very loud. I never slept well because of the noise, but it didn't grind... more

Casa Duende is located in a good spot, a little bit up the mountain. It's true, you have to walk a little further, but you get a great view instead! We loved sitting on top of the roof, which also is the patio, and just look around. The owners of casa duende make sure you feel good. They offer you... more

The place and rooms were nice, however, there are no windows or doors, just drapes to close the space between the porch and the room. There is so much noise coming from the town square, that we could not sleep with earplugs in. Also, there are so many yelping chihuahas running around which adds to the noise problem. The room... more

I have traveled to many destinations and have fairly simple needs. During my last trip to Mexico, which lasted three weeks, this was the least pleasing of all the accomodations in which I spent time at. My friend and I had reserved Duende Four for for nights and were quite shocked and disappointed with our accomadations at Casa Duende Vista.... more

sayulita is not for everybody. this reviewer chose to move on after spending one night in town, they checked in after 5pm and left the next morning about 8am to venture up the coast saying not to worry about them if they returned late. they came back after 3pm to say they found a place in rincon de guyabitos and...

My daughter and I found the piece of paradise that we hope to return to year after year! Mario and Linda created the perfect haven for respite after over indulgence of Salulita surf, sand and sun. Our room was alive with Mexican artistry, color, and mosaic enhancements and embraced our senses from the first opening of our door. Clean, colorful... more

Casa Duende offered more then your average hotel. Not only was the room emaculate. bright, beautiful and offered a great view, the management and owners go the extra mile to offer the best service possible. Be sure to visit the surf shop that is the brightest building on the beach and be sure to ask where the best meals and... more

Sayulita offers a quiet escape. It is rests near the surrounding ocean bay, and is nestled in the majestic Mexican mountains. It offers activities for all outdoor enthusiasts; nature walking, hiking, snorkeling, fishing, and good waves for surfing. The town is small and quaint, but yet offers all the amenities that most travellers have become accustomed to having. In the... more
