Upon arrival, we got out of the taxi, shook off the town dust and arrived at the most peaceful and lush Shangri-La. Casa a Kukana is more than an architecturally amazing villa (which it is) but the first thing that hits you is the impeccable grounds that encompass an unsurpassed view down the entire beach from the yard and infinity... We just got back from 2 weeks staying at Casa Kukana in the English Cottage. I was travelling with my 7 year old son and we had an absolutely wonderful time. The huge incredible garden area, perfect little pool and sense of quiet privacy made this an ideal vacation spot. The Cottage is located just to the side of the... More

Just got back from our second stay over the past two years in the Moroccan Bungalow at Casa Kukana, and as before it was awesome. Several sets of french doors create an open feel. Private, expansive, incredible grounds to relax and enjoy a fun game of pickle ball, or a siesta. The view, pool, palapa, and Suzanne's staff are awesome.... More

I statyed at the English Cottage which is attached to Casa Kukana as well the house the Suzanne lives in. The 3 units are all in different parts of a very large compound each with lots of Privacy. The main area with pool is shared with Casa Kukana. The grounds are 5 star with palm trees and flora that I... More

We loved the serenity and beauty of Casa Kakuna. The view from the infinity pool was amazing! The grounds were well manicured, the staff were very accommodating and we felt really at home and safe. We stayed in the English Bungalow - it was perfect for 2 people, very quaint and charming with a private patio to enjoy our morning... More

I had the pleasure of staying at Casa Kukana for two weeks in November 2013. It was incredibly relaxing and healing. The Casa is on a hill overlooking the main beach of Sayulita and the coastline. I found myself soaking in the pool or lounging on the beautifully manicured garden and just staring out. The stairs down to the beach... More

In February 2014 I celebrated my 50th with my sister and two girlfriends in the most beautiful villa up on a hill over looking the most charming town of Sayulita. The rooms are warm and feel like you are sleeping in a work of art. The views are breathtaking and Susanne the owner treats you like family. This is a... More

Three friends and I just spent 6 nights at Casa Kukana to celebrate one of our birthdays. We couldn't have had a better time had we tried. Everything about our stay was wonderful. The rooms were decorated beautifully and appointed with everything that we needed for our stay. The grounds were beautiful and impeccably maintained, and the views were to... More

I recently stayed at Casa Kukana for 12 days as part of a trip to celebrate my mother's 60th birthday. We were looking for somewhere beautiful, with plenty of space but safe for our little 4 month old son, and close to the beach. We couldn't have been happier with our choice. Casa Kukana literally has some of the best... More

Had a beautiful view and the pool was unbeatable but would avoid staying here in the off season. Very hard to get to in the dark as there are not many lights guiding the long uphill walk from town. Very hot with A/C's that marginally worked. Plumbing marginal as well! On another note-The caretaker from the apartment was wonderful. Responded... More
