The rooms were clean and cozy and the staff were very helpfull and friendly. Jungle jims being attached was very convenient and with a timmy's , liguor store, pharmacy and grocery store right across the atreet its ideally located. Had a great stay and will definitley stay there again in the future !!

If you're passing through St. Anthony and you have to stay somewhere, this is a fine hotel. Not great, not bad, but ok. The room was well equipped but a little musty and the walls are pretty thin. Had an energetic couple on one side and a crying baby on the other. Want details? It is central and they did... More

I just stayed at this hotel while working and travelling in the area. It's an old hotel and I was a little nervous about staying. The place I wanted to stay in was booked. I was pleasantly surprised. It has no curb appeal at all and the outside looks like an institution. However, may room was a mix of old... More

The room was clean, the staff friendly. Attached is a chain restaurant Jungle Jims, where the food was adequate. We had no problem with the internet connection. But, the walls are paper thin, and were located across the hall from multiple room rented to a noisy bus tour.

Not too many choices available, since most everything was booked up - was able to rent the last single room plus use my sleeping bag on the floor for the second "bed". Restaurant in the hotel, Tim Horton's across the street. After a long drive - and late at night arriving, it served the purpose.

When visiting the Northern Peninsula of Newfoundland, St Anthony is the most convenient place to stay. There are a limited number of hotels in the town and we chose Hotel North based upon Tripadvisor reviews. While not luxurious, Hotel North was a clean and quiet facility with comfortable rooms. It served as a pleasant place to stay with a very... More

St. Anthony is a small village with hotels that run from low-rent district feel to higher end with no sort of in between..... the Hotel North was at the lower end of the scale. It felt like a number of construction trailers joined together and refitted to make a hotel with little work done to alleviate the utilitarian feel. The... More

Asked for the nicest accommodations, and I got a very large, clean room with a super-comfy bed. Unfortunately the internet did not work at all in the room (I was informed that the routers in that part of the hotel had been stolen). Wi-fi was fine in the lobby though. Jungle Jims restaurant is a good value for breakfast. 6/10

St Anthony is a small community and this was in the middle. We found the hotel clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful as were the staff in the restaurant.(Jungle Jim's). I would stay again.

Stayed as part of a tour group The hotel was clean but not a great find Watch out for the weird door locks. The restaurant is franchised as a Jungle Jim's so don't expect local cuisine Tim Horton's is nearby as is a small shopping centre so it's well situated
