We were delighted to stay in this beautiful bed and breakfast, perched right on the shore of the harbour of St. Anthony. Donna and Lester Budgell, owners, are lifelong residents of St. Anthony. Donna is a very gracious lady and is always willing to provide suggestions and assistance. She has a consummate knowledge of the area. Donna provided her guests... More

We stayed for two nights at this completely charming B&B. The rooms were comfortable and extremely well kept. It is hard to decide if the star of this B&B is it's wonderful location right on the water with rustic authentic grounds or the delicious breakfasts featuring Newfoundland delicacies. All bedrooms have harbour views and Donna was a wonderful host who... More

We stayed here a few years back and when the opportunity to return presented itself we seized it! This is one of those very special places to stay. As the picture shows it is a tiny fisherman's cottage built right on the water's edge. Like another reviewer we took the opportunity to sleep with the window slightly open and were... More

What a find! The Fishing Point B&B is a clean, cozy little gem just outside downtown St. Anthony. The view of the harbour is fantastic from all three water-facing rooms, the covered deck and the comfy common rooms. Donna, the hostess, is very warm and full of stories that give you a real feel for the place and its people.... More

Right on the water near the park! Looking out right to the water. Donna is a great host and very informative. This was her husband family home. Great breakfast with tastes of nfld. ex. Fish cake or moose sausage. We were lucky to get a room to accomadation three ladies. I would highly recommend this "step into the 80,s" B&B.

This B&B has a beautiful location and is certainly quaint. The breakfast was quite delicious and just the right quantity so I was able to finish it. It would have been nice not to be obliged to eat at 8 am. The room was the tiniest I have ever seen and if one was in the slightest bit overweight, I... More

Donna was welcoming and cooked delicious breakfasts including moose sausage one morning. We loved the location so close to Fishing Point Park, and a wonderful view out to the water from our room. There was also a great boat tour close by, with a trip out to see whales, dolphins, and an iceberg. Amazing.

This B&B is indeed a great place to stay at. The location is perfect, the view onto the water could not be any better, our room was spacious (we were lucky in getting the largest room available), spotless and comfortable, breakfast was delicious and always included a different local dish (we spent 3 nights), and Donna is such an amazing,... View from the room was amazing, had the window opened and listened to the water at night. It was hot when we were there so when we were up for breakfast the dining area was sweltering and kind of cramped as there was six other people staying. Suggest may be putting a small table at the couch as well for... More
