Donna, the owner, lives just a few doors down. This means that we could enjoy our own space and yet she was only minutes away if we needed her. I felt that hers was the most thoughtful breakfast menu as she really made the effort to include traditional Newfoundland foods. Our rooms were very comfortable and we particularly enjoyed sitting... We stayed here 3 nights and our host Donna was very charming and loves the area that she is from. Lots of great information and suggestions provided. Breakfasts were a real treat as they were a Newfoundland tradition......Delicious !!! Our room was small but adequate and we had a great view of the harbour. Nice to wake up to in... More

Thank you Donna for welcoming us into your B&B. Very charming place with outstanding views of the harbour. Our room was a little smaller than other B&B's we've stayed at, but very clean and inviting. Our breakfast stayed with the Newfoundland tradition, moose sausage, trout, partridge berry & baked apple berry jams. We would recommend the Fishing Point B&B.

This is a lovely place, very clean, nice hostess. Hostess does not live on-site but is close by. The rooms are quite small and the bathrooms are very small, however we are very glad we stayed here. There is a nice deck overlooking the harbour and it is located just down the street from the lighthouse (the sign for it... More

We checked into Fishing Point B&B and were greeted by Donna our friendly host for the next two days. As we gazed out our bedroom window for the first view of the harbour we saw a large iceberg. What a welcome to this small friendly location. Breakfast each morning was a true Newfoundland experience - fish and brewis, salmon, etc,... More

We were guests at Fishing Point B&B and I can't imagine a better B&B exists in St. Anthony, NL. The host, Donna, met us upon our arrival and was very friendly and is a proud resident of St. Anthony. Our room was average size for a B&B (average size room for a B&B is small by anyother standard) and had... More

Lovely wee place, lots of charm. Very tiny bedrooms and over crowded with nic-naks as were all the surfaces in the house. Donna & Les don't live there - which we found a bit strange for a B&B, but Ontario may have different rules. The view from our bedroom was incredible - see photo attached. Compared to other B&Bs we stayed... More

Had a wonderful 3 night stay here recently. Dona, the host, is friendly and welcoming, and has a wealth of local knowledge as has lived in the area her whole life. The cottage is an old family home and is decorated in traditional Newfoundland style. It looks out directly over the water so we could see icebergs from our bedroom!... More

We were Donna & Les' first guests of the 2015 season. The house was Les' parents' homestead, and they have maintained some traditional decor on the main floor - wood floors, stove, and art. It's a beautiful, cozy space, and we were asked to treat it as home. Coming from the city I found the silence refreshing. Our bedroom window... More

Easy to find, great location, cozy comfortable rooms, has its own wharf with a fantastic harbor view. Donna, the host , provides a wealth of tourist tips along with fantastic breakfasts done with a touch of local fare. Highly recommended place to stay.
