The owner lives elsewhere, so wasn't able to accommodate an early breakfast. We had to do with a bowl of cereal, disappointing. Our ensuite was not ensuite but in the hall. The chatchkas were overwhelming and unnecessary but the choice of blue decor in our room was spot on. We enjoy d staying in this authentic fishing cottage.

We loved staying at Donna's B&B for many reasons. Donna was a great hostess and made special breakfasts for us highlighting local produce. The rooms were slightly cluttered with Donna's eclectic collections which added a quirkiness to this historic house. While we ate breakfast each morning Donna told us stories of local history and personalities and also helped us with... More

Donna is such a kind and thoughtful owner, I almost cringe to write this, but it's my opinion. The place is well situated, and the view is stunning. The picture here is from the harbour, the front is different. Parking is a bit dangerous. Quite steep and nothing to stop a car from rolling forward. The house is tiny and... More

The Fishing Point B&B was a big highlight of our trip to Newfoundland! Donna, the owner, was so friendly and helpful, and not to mention cooked us the most memorable breakfast of our holiday! Partridge berry pancakes, moose sausage, fish cakes and home made baked beans, it was a delight to stay here!

Over a 16 day stay in Newfoundland, the 4 of us stayed in a number of B&B's as we traversed the province. There was a unanimous decision that Donna provided the best breakfast of them all. Loved the stories over breakfast - she has a real love and knowledge of the area. Rooms were comfortable and well appointed. Great to... More

Located right on the water, this B&B has small but cozy rooms and an excellent view of the harbour. The owner will remind you of your kindly Grade 2 teacher. A great deal of care goes into the breakfasts. The owner's husband makes fabulous moose sausage. Close to the lighthouse and a very good restaurant.

Donna, the owner, lives just a few doors down. This means that we could enjoy our own space and yet she was only minutes away if we needed her. I felt that hers was the most thoughtful breakfast menu as she really made the effort to include traditional Newfoundland foods. Our rooms were very comfortable and we particularly enjoyed sitting... We stayed here 3 nights and our host Donna was very charming and loves the area that she is from. Lots of great information and suggestions provided. Breakfasts were a real treat as they were a Newfoundland tradition......Delicious !!! Our room was small but adequate and we had a great view of the harbour. Nice to wake up to in... More

Thank you Donna for welcoming us into your B&B. Very charming place with outstanding views of the harbour. Our room was a little smaller than other B&B's we've stayed at, but very clean and inviting. Our breakfast stayed with the Newfoundland tradition, moose sausage, trout, partridge berry & baked apple berry jams. We would recommend the Fishing Point B&B.

This is a lovely place, very clean, nice hostess. Hostess does not live on-site but is close by. The rooms are quite small and the bathrooms are very small, however we are very glad we stayed here. There is a nice deck overlooking the harbour and it is located just down the street from the lighthouse (the sign for it... More
