Small room with very dark small bathroom. No one there to greet us but we did have a key and note. We were unsure of set up and just tried to figure out set up for using fridge etc. Learnt there was nothing to grab in the morning to eat, not even fresh coffee or muffin. Towels were well used... Very confortable, clean and new-looking room. Spacious bathroom. Awesome and peaceful location in the middle of the mountain. Very friendly and helpful staff. Delicious breakfast, although extras (like eggs) were charged on top of the room price. Highly recommended.

We were here one night and enjoyed our stay. The room with 2 single comfortable beds and ensuite was small, but adequate. The hot breakfast was extra and we enjoyed the French toast with bakeapple syrup, but the included continental breakfast was fabulous with lots of fresh fresh, yogurt, biscuits, etc. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Our room was ok, tried to make it look country style, but the paint was chipped quite badly on one wall. Bed was comfortable. More lighting would have helped, only one bedside lamp and the bathroom lighting was quite poor. The main dining/living room were decorated very nicely, quite spacious and bright. If you wanted a hot breakfast there was... More

A lovely staff member greeted us on arrival and explained about breakfast and gave us a card to tick our desires. We stayed here for 3 nights in a twin room on the second floor with private bath. There was always coffee/tea and fresh muffins available. Also a big comfy living area with TV and lots of local books which... More

We got in very late - but the breakfast cards in the room were great to fill out our morning choice so the kitchen was prepared - great idea - the rooms were clean and the beds and linen very comfortable - wish we had the luxury of time to sleep in a bit longer .

Went there in the summer of 2014 to visit the viking settlements. The rooms are very nice and the service was good. The food served for breakfast was terrible, it was comparable to a TV dinner except for breakfast and we were changed extra for having breakfast, $7.50 each if my memory serves me correctly. Its a very expensive place... More

This newer B&B in St. Anthony located on a hill overlooking the harbor is an excellent location to see icebergs near the shore as they were this past July. The rooms were spacious with ensuite nicer than my own home. The owner-operator couple were very helpful and assisted in our travel plans and problems. The breakfast was very good and well... More

We stayed at various B&B's during a ten day vacation in Newfoundland. Crows nest was the most expensive B&B we stayed in but would rank last in terms of staff welcome/friendliness and the breakfast offered did not meet the standards set by competitor B&B/s. I think implicit in the name B&B is that breakfast is included in your room charge.... More

We visited St. Anthony in August to go whale watching and visit the Viking settlement. Crown Nest is a great place to stay. It has a very good breakfast with local jams, jellies and syrups. You can order a more filling breakfast for a modest fee. The rooms were large and clean and ours had an external entrance. It has... More
