I have just had another excellent Christmas in Northern Ireland, with a highlight being the three night stay at the Oakfield Guest House. Where else would you get pineapple, mango, perfect scrambled eggs, excellent porridge and whatever else you could ask for at breakfast. Other guests from France, China and Australia gave the stay a truly international flavour. The attention... More

We spent 4 nights at Oakfield in October 2011. Set in rolling countryside the location is idyllic if you are looking for something quiet. Our room was very comfortable with a well-appointed bathroom. Rosaleen, Johnny and Joanne looked after us extremely well and nothing was too much trouble. Rosaleen was able to give us some superb choices for places to... More

This guest house was adorable as was the proprietor and staff I met. I felt very welcome and looked after during my stay. The room was lovely with exquisite views of the countryside. I was working in Lurgan for 2 days which was around 8 miles away but worth the short drive each day to and from the accommodation. Northern... More

Hi i would like to say how much me and my wife enjoyed our stay at this wonderful b&b, we only stayed 1 night on our way to the ferry after a 1 week long tour of ireland in our classic xk140 jaguar, wonderful people who could not have done more for us, fab hospitality and the best bacon sandwich... This was my third stay at Oakfield Guest House and I cannot say enough to adequately convey what a wonderful accommodation this is. The rooms are spotless and the location serene and lovely. However, all of this pales in comparison to the great hospitality of the hosts--Johnny and Rosaleen. They are two special people who will do whatever they can... More

We first found this place in 2008 through an Irish road racing magazine as we wanted somewhere fairly close for the Ulster GP. We were well looked after then and so had no qualms in booking there again for this years return trip to the Ulster. It is owned and run by very friendly and warm Mother and Son duo... More

This little B&B is in nestled into the countryside 30 mins from Belfast with no more than 5 minutes to the nearest motorway. The people that run this B&B are by no over elaboration, born to run a B&B. The mother and son combo of Johnny and Roselyn are. The most welcoming people, and made my first trip to Ireland... More

Rosaleen and Johnny made us feel very welcome in their home. We stayed for 2 nights at the end of our break visiting northern Ireland. Whilst Belfast and Antrim are both half hour drives away there isn't much else to do nearby, perfect for a quiet break away from it all! More
