we had no reservations and found May and Ron thru word of mouth. Had a little trouble finding their home, (no sign) but once we were there we couldn't have asked for more helpful hosts. We traveled Ireland without reservations in Sept 08 and decided to by-pass Belfast and stop in Lisburn. We looked around Lisburn and rec'd a recommendation for "No. 3". There is'nt much Hotel or B&B accomodation in Lisburn. However we were pleasently surprised when we stayed last week end at No3 Plantation Rd The room was spacious and spotless. The en-suite bathroom had fresh white towels and shampoos. The room had TV and coffee making facilities The Irish breakfast was almost fat free and included vine tomatoes and mushrooms.... more
